Shouldice Professional Achievement Award Lecture held in the LSSU Library on October 23, 2025 as part of Alumni Weekend Events.  This talk features Dr. Christopher Merrett as he presents “Planning for Sustainable Community Economic Development in Michigan’s Upper Penninsula.”

Lake Superior State University observed Indigenous Peoples’ Day this week with a campus-wide event.  The University was honored to host Austin Lowes, Chairman of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians on Tuesday, October 10th in recognition and celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.  Read more.
