"How should I pray for my church?" In Ephesians 1:15-23, Paul prays for the church in Ephesus and demonstrates what we should pray for. As we seek to know Christ and all His blessings, we should pray that our church will do the same.

God has richly blessed us in Christ. However, we often fail to realize all of these amazing benefits. In Ephesians 1:4-14, Paul reminds us of this powerful truth and points us to God's glory.

We have been given every spiritual blessing in Christ to the praise of His glory. In this sermon, Pastor Dave examines these spiritual blessings and their vast greatness. We are blessed beyond measure, supplying us with hope and peace in this broken world.

Often, Christians live as though we do not have the ability or power to overcome sin in our lives or the evil in this world. They live with anxiety, frustration, and hopelessness. It is not just how you start, but also how you finish. In our final look at the life of Abraham, we discover three important truths that can help us finish our lives well. When your body fails and your energy depletes, you are not worthless. God still has a plan for you to end well and leave a remarkable legacy. 

Marriage is the foundation of all society. However, our culture has abandoned and defiled marriage. This destruction has even crept into the church. But Genesis 24 teaches us that God is faithful in His plan for marriage.

Death is an inevitable fact of life in a fallen world. Death is difficult to handle. As Abraham faced the death of his wife, we see God's faithfulness through it all. 

Why would God ask Abraham to sacrifice his son? In Genesis 22, we learn about Abraham's incredible faith, but this story is about so much more. This chapter is a picture of the Gospel. 

How often do we doubt God's faithfulness? We forget all that God has done for us and become anxious. However, Genesis 21 teaches us that we can trust God at all times because He keeps His promises.

People fail to keep their promises, but that's never true of God. It's never too difficult, distant, or expensive for God. He always keeps His promises. In Genesis 18:1-15, we're reminded of this truth. 

"I messed up again." Does that sound familiar? In our battle with sin, we find ourselves making the same mistakes. But Genesis 20 shows us that our failure does not negate God's faithfulness. 

Jesus is risen! Yesterday, we celebrated the resurrection of our Savior. Mark 16:1-8 records this world-changing event. Because Jesus lives, we will live forever. 

What happens when we fall in love with the world? Genesis 19 shows us the devastating results. This nasty poison attacks our faith and will only lead to destruction. 

Does God ever make mistakes? When faced with a crisis, it may feel that way. But in Genesis 18, we learn that God is always good. So we can be confident that the Righteous Judge will do what is just. 

"Father Abraham had many sons. Many sons had Father Abraham." This old song actually contains timeless truth. Why is Abraham our father? In Genesis 17, we learn that we are a part of God's eternal covenant given to Abraham. 

What happens when our faith fails? We get tired of waiting and take matters into our own hands. We try to help God. In Genesis 16, we see what happens when faith fails. Thankfully, God is faithful when we are faithless. 

How do Christians deal with doubt? This is a common issue for believers. But we must understand that faith is not the absence of doubt. Rather, faith is unbelief kept silent. In Genesis 15, Abraham's doubts are addressed. 

Sometimes, doing the right thing doesn't feel like the right thing. So, how should we handle this dilemma? In Genesis 14, we learn that God always cares for those who live in faith.

What is the focus of your life? What you value and pursue in life determines how you'll be remembered. Focusing on the world brings strife, but focusing on God brings blessing. Learn more in this week's sermon from Genesis 13:

How do we make disciples and declare God's glory? As we consider our mission, we must realize the importance of instruction. In Ephesians 4:11-16, we see why instruction is vital to disciple-making. 

What is the value of a human life? Yesterday, we celebrated Sanctity of Life Sunday and looked at Psalm 139. In this psalm, David answers this question by considering God's view of life. 

Our mission is to make disciples and declare God's glory through worship. So what does it mean to worship? In John 4:24, Jesus answers this question for us. 

What is the mission of the church? There are many opinions on this topic, but what does Scripture say? In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus gives us our mission- make disciples.
