The death and resurrection of Christ is the climax of all history. When we turn to Christ in repentance and faith, we become united with Him in His death and resurrection. Just as Christ died, so we die to our old way of life. Just as Christ lives, so we embrace a new life and declare with confidence, “I’m Alive!”

The Lord’s miracles were breathtaking to behold. With one word He caused the blind to see, the deaf to hear, the lame to walk, and the dead to come back to life! But the religious leaders rejected Jesus and said His miracles were performed by the power of Satan. By saying this, they revealed the true condition of their hearts and that they had passed the point of no return.

Jesus knew that one day He would return to His Father in heaven. He also knew that the work He began had to continue on earth. Therefore, He chose twelve men to carry on His ministry after His departure. He prepared these men and then sent them out to preach His message.

The teachings of the Pharisees weighed people down with a load of legalistic demands. Jesus came to remove that load and liberate His people. Have you been set free?

The religious leaders of Jesus' day were prideful and pompous. They looked down their noses at common people and despised sinners. Jesus was just the opposite! He hung out with sinful people and showed them His love. His kindness toward them led to their repentance.

Jesus had a busy schedule. His days were often packed with ministry and as a Man He became depleted. What did the Lord do to replenish Himself after a demanding day? He found a secret place to connect with His Father in prayer.

During His ministry, Jesus had compassion for those who were in need. As He preached to the multitudes, healed the diseased, and freed the demonized, His ministry had an immense impact on the lives of the people He loved.

When Jesus began His ministry, He chose common fishermen to be part of His inner circle. After these men left their fishing nets to follow the Lord, He trained them and turned them into “fishers of men”.

Before Jesus launched His ministry, John the Baptist came to prepare the people for their Messiah. His message centered on repentance and the result was a great revival in the land.

Jesus Christ is worth following, but we must never forget that there is nothing casual about being committed to Him. Jesus said, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me."

During the Last Supper, the Lord Jesus established a New Covenant with His people. This covenant is based on His broken body and shed blood for us. Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Communion together and Pastor Mike teaches us about the New Covenant.

Life in this fallen world is filled with heartache and pain. But the last chapter of Revelation has good news. A new world is coming! One day God will create a New Heaven and a New Earth, which will be our home forever. Heaven is not just our destination, it should be our motivation. The promise a new world should change how we live in this world.

At the end of the Millennium, Satan will be released from his prison. Through a campaign of lies he will deceive millions to follow him in an attempt to topple Christ from His throne in Jerusalem. This diabolical plan will fail and Satan will finally be destroyed. In the end, the Lord will win the battle between good and evil!

By the end of the Tribulation, the earth will be a vast wasteland of destruction. But during the Kingdom Age, the Lord will reverse the curse and restore the earth to its original beauty. Then He will reign with His saints for one thousand years.
