So often the Christian begins their walk through faith but quickly defaults to work's based sanctification. Here we see that the Gospel reveals to us God's righteousness is worked out in us from faith to faith.

Another prophecy of Daniel shows the coming kingdoms to rule Israel, mainly the Grecian Empire led by Alexander the Great. An offspring from this kingdom will foreshadow the Anti-Christ of Revelation but both false Christs will be conquered by the King of Kings!

Entering the prophetic chapters of Daniel, our main Character has a dream which parallels Nebuchadnezzar's statuesque dream of Chapter 2. This dream of Daniel's unfold's world events thousands of years before they happen beginning with Babylon's empire and stretching all the way until the return of the Christ.

As we embark upon the epistle to the Romans, we are reminded of God's amazing gospel of grace that not only saves the sinner but sanctifies the believer...only grace!

Chad Carpenter takes us through Daniel 6 and points us beyond the miracle in Daniel's life to the miracle of Jesus coming to this earth and spending His own time in the den of lions...sinful man.

On the eve of the Persian invasion of Babylon, Belshazzar throws a festival marked by idol worship and drunken debauchery. God in his mercy, supernaturally intervenes by causing a hand to appear and tell the king his fate that is a result of his foolish pride.

You'll never know how much the relationship you have with another brother or sister in Christ means to them. Being together with other saints is not something to give or take, but a very essential part of the Christian's life. Paul actively seeks out fellowship on his way to Rome and what he finds is hospitality and encouragement that brings thanks and praise to God.

Shipwrecked Paul along with Luke, Aristarchus and 244 other sailers, soldiers and slaves find themselves washed up on the Island of Malta where they meet an especially kind group of natives. A snakebite to the hand of Paul opens up doors to share the wondrous news of the gospel with the islanders, confirmed by healing power to all who had diseases. While sailing to Italy as a prisoner of Rome, Paul's ship encounters a gigantic storm and for over two weeks is tossed up and down the Adriatic Sea. Such a storm caused all on the vessel to abandon hope of salvation.

As Paul speaks in Caesarea to King Agrippa and many other Roman leaders he is mocked and called "Crazy." Paul replies that his message is not marked by madness, but by truth and reason. Let's take a look at the evidence Paul brings to the table externally through the testimony of his changed life, and internally through fulfilled prophecies in the Word of God.

Our study in 2 Kings ended with Judah being led away captive by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Among those taken prisoner were four incredible young men of integrity. This first study in Daniel follows the Stumble of Judah and the Stand, Strength and Splendor of these four men of purpose.

Paul shares his testimony with Herod Arippa II. As he testifies of his encounter with Jesus on the Road to Damascus, we see that God had a purpose for Paul from the day he was saved. To be a minister and a witness. These have also been purposed for you who would name the name of Christ. As these purposes are acted on, there is tremendous fruit, seen in verse 18.

In order to have hope in this life we have to know that we have hope in the next. We can measure our hope in the next life based upon what we are hoping for in the next. Because Jesus has risen, we can know that we have hope in this life and the next.

Tom Ewers from Calvary Chapel of Corvallis fixes our gaze on the Holiness of God. In his Holy Presence we are undone and are unable to stand, but the blood of Jesus provides us access into the presence of a Holy God.

The Roman governor Felix and his wife Drusilla call Paul to stand before them so they may hear him concerning faith in Christ. As Paul stands being judged, he reasons about righteousness, self control and the judgment to come with the immoral couple.

Paul gives his defense before the Roman Governor Felix and brings the charges against himself down to one main issue, his hope in the resurrection of both the just and the unjust.

The Jews bring significant opposition against Paul, but Jesus stands by Paul in the night and comforts him, telling Paul it's not over but preaching in Rome awaits the apostle. When things look bleak the next morning, God intervenes and supernaturally escorts the Gospel towards Rome through the most natural means: a nephew, a commander and a Roman escort.

During our Sunday service, Pastor Rory, two of the Elders, and the worship leader, gave a tag-team message about discipleship, and our great need to be disciples and not just converts. This was done in part to call the men in the church to consider becoming disciples, committing to a year's journey through Biblical discipleship.

Paul has made it to Jerusalem where he is greeted by James and the elders. They rejoice to hear of the incredible gospel transformation that occurred during Paul's last two missionary journeys.
