It is in the nature of the Spirit of God to bring about transformation wherever He is. As believers, we must understand the significance of seeing our personal lives transformed as well as experiencing the power of God at work through the Church.

The Spirit inspires God’s people to share their faith and their lives graciously and generously. As we grow in understanding and appreciation of the gospel, that we are made right with God through faith in Christ, our affections are transformed. God’s Spirit inspires love for God and others, triumphs over selfishness and anxiety, and produces boldness and unity.

Most of us would like to share our faith in Jesus with others: family members, friends, and neighbors where you live, work, study and play. Nevertheless, many Christians don’t share their faith in Christ. We must remember and be rooted in the truth that the gospel we proclaim is a gospel of healing, grace, mercy, and a free gift offered because of Jesus’ sacrifice.

We are empowered by God’s Holy Spirit to bring God glory not to pursue personal gratification.

The early church flourished, and God moved mightily. In order to experience the flourishing work of God it is vital to be involved in church gatherings, invested in the Church body, and be inwardly transformed.

The Church was birthed from, is sustained by, and realizes her full potential through the gospel of Jesus Christ. As we hold fast to, and share, the good news of salvation we can trust that God is at work. Today we’ll unpack the glory and power of the gospel in our lives.

All believers in Jesus Christ should expect to be led by the Holy Spirit to speak His Word, our testimony, and Jesus’ gospel.

It’s easy for those who believe in God to approach Christianity, church, and their faith in a very passive way. [This mentality that you’ve made the team or been accepted into the program, and now we can relax.] However, followers of Jesus will find the greatest fulfillment when we actively seek to know God and act in alignment with His will.

The Spirit empowered life exemplified in the book of Acts isn’t simply descriptive of what once was, but is prescriptive for how the believer should live on mission now. Just as God used the disciples in the early church in incredible ways, God wants to use us today. Together we’ll see how we can step into the Spirit empowered life and live as witnesses for Jesus and His gospel.

In Luke’s sequel to his gospel, he continues the account of the ministry and teaching of Christ, as carried out through His disciples. Jesus promised them power to do this, and He provided many convincing proofs of the power He promised. The same power, through His Spirit, is offered to us. His clear proofs give us confidence and evidence to answer skeptics.

Only when we understand that all believers share the same identity as part of the body of Christ will we be able to care for and honor one another as ourselves.

Every human was designed for spiritual growth. In the Garden of Eden, God established a model where Adam and Eve could walk with God and learn from Him as they grew.
