Calvary Nexus invites guest Teaching Pastor Carl Westerlund to continue our study through the book of Acts. Today's passage is Acts 17:1-15.

Christ came to set us free so that we can truly worship God. What are some issues that keep Christians from truly worshiping God (remember: worship is more than praise)? What keeps you from freely worshiping God?

God wants us to be free to worship Him. The Bible translates the Greek Pharmakeia as "sorcery." Sorcery includes drugs, alcohol abuse, the occult, astrology, fortune tellers, palm readers, tarot cards, psychics, horoscopes, etc. Why is it a problem, and why is it wrong?
