God invites each of us to the greatest event in history- the wedding of His Son. He's arranged an eternal plan to make it happen. He invites everyone to be part of it. And, He's provided the only way to attend. Have you said "yes" to His invitation? Or, are you ignoring it, waiting to decide, or rejecting it? Are you telling others about this wonderful event and inviting them to come?

God’s people are called to experience transformed lives through Christ. We are to repent and bear fruit for the kingdom. Repentance involves changing your thinking about God and your sin so you turn from your sin and yield to God. It is to be an on-going experience of the Christian-life. Yet, religious people often struggle to repent. How can you repent and bear fruit for God?

Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Jesus’ disciples are to love the least and the lost. What we need is humility. We discover our level of humility in how we treat the least and the lost, and how we deal with our sin.

What is faith? Faith is responding to God with an attitude of dependence and actions of obedience. Faith involves confidence in Christ, rather than faith in “faith.” A growing faith is evidence of a growing relationship with Jesus. At Caesarea Philippi, the disciples had just affirmed that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God [16:1-12]. Jesus wants them to understand that He is more than a mere mortal man like Moses or Elijah, but is in fact God in the flesh. The reality of the glorious God who dwells with man can transform your life forever.

Jesus asks, “But who do you say that I am?” It is the most important question that any human can contemplate, and the most consequential answer of your life and eternal life. Our culture and environment shape our view of Jesus. But who is Jesus really? What’s the benefit of following Him, and what will it really cost you?

Discernment is the ability to judge well in regard to spiritual direction and understanding. The most important truth to discern is properly identifying Jesus and His gospel. And we need to discern sound (good) doctrine to know and grow in Him.
