In this study we begin to look at those who lived and walked out their faith never seeing the day of redemption in their lifetime, but still believed and obeyed the word of the Lord.

We will continue our study in Joshua chapter 7

We will continue in our study on "Faith".

In this study, we will see the final remission of our sin through the blood of Jesus, which gives us boldness to enter into His presence. We will see the importance of gathering together in fellowship and finally we will see the judgement of God for those who have not received Jesus as the final sacrifice.

We will see how God was showing that this process of marching around Jericho once a day for 6 days wouldn’t be found in standard military plans made by man. It also probably took a lot for the men of war to do this because they had to swallow their pride and trust God’s plan, not their own. God chose 6 days for them to walk in obedience before He came through on the 7th day.

We will continue our study starting at John 13:31

Jesus is the cornerstone that all believers build upon, not the shadow of Him seen in the law, but the reality of His coming, His death and His resurrection. In this Study, we will continue looking at this theme.

We will look closer at both the old and new covenant, seeing exactly why this applies to us today.

In this chapter you will learn the importance of Gilgal and what happened there.

We will see the writer shows us the need for a new covenant and what it looks like in the lives of believers.

The writer of Hebrews brings us to the main point of everything he has been leading up to so far. Let’s begin: "Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, 2 a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man." Hebrews 8:1-2

We will see when God goes before His people in every action He calls them to do. When He gives a command, He has already made a way.

This week the writer is going further in showing the readers of this letter, why Jesus is the fulfillment of their faith and he will use this mysterious character Melchizedek to do just that. In this study the writer encourages the readers of this letter both the Hebrews in their day and the church today to continue in the promise that God gives us through Jesus, which actually fulfills the promise He gave to Abraham.

As we continue our study in the book of Joshua we how isreal still rebelled against God and end with the Ark being crossed through the Jordan river on dry ground.

The parallels in 1 Samuel chapter 17

We will look at how we must continue to grow in our relationship with the Lord and be diligent to not fall back into the mindset of a babe in Christ, but become mature in our faith.

Now the writer of Hebrews turns his thought to Jesus being our high priest, and how important it is that we hold on to our confession of Him and who He is in our lives.
