In Psalm 10 we will address the why question.

We will see Jesus asking who men say He is, and who the disciples say He is. We will see that response from Peter and we will also see the battle to remain in the Spirit and not fall back into our fleshly mindsets.

Now up to this point, Jesus hasn’t really called them out on their lack of faith or how they are so short sighted, but as we will see in our last study, He speaks to them directly about this issue. He will also address the Pharisees when they come trying to test Him.

This Psalm’s title is “To the Chief Musician. To the tune of [a]“Death of the Son.” A Psalm of David.” Like chapter 8, some believe this Psalm is a specific tune called “Muth Labben” in Hebrew. Psalm 6 Bible study

We pick up in chapter 6 where Jesus goes to Nazareth, His home town and then sending out the 12 to other villages.

In our last study we learned that the demons know that Jesus not only has authority over them, but He also will eternally judge them in the appointed time. Picking up with this thought, the demons have reason to fear. They have no option to be redeemed. Man was created in God’s image, and from the beginning God knew that he would fall and His plan of redemption in place.
