This week Jesus will send the disciples out to do ministry without Him, but He will equip them with His power and authority. We’ll also study one of Jesus’ biggest miracles, the feeding of the 5,000. Afterwards, Jesus will ask His disciples an important, life changing question. The question Jesus asks them is one we must answer correctly ourselves.

This week we’ll learn that a genuine, saving faith will naturally produce good deeds. But James will also warn us that "faith without deeds is useless". We’ll learn that James isn’t trying to say that our works can save us, he’s warning us that a verbal profession of faith won’t save us if it doesn’t transform our actions.

We can have a tendency to judge by appearance, status, and what people can offer us—but Jesus doesn’t. Join us this weekend as we open James 2:1–13 and discover why the ground is level at the foot of the cross.

James 1:19-27 emphasizes that true faith must move beyond mere listening to active obedience. This passage warns against the self-deception of acquiring biblical knowledge without putting it into practice. We will learn that “pure religion” through the Holy Spirit is a life marked by a controlled tongue, personal holiness, and compassionate service to those in distress.

As we conclude Luke chapter 8, we see how two miracles intertwine, and we learn the importance of how our faith is related to our healing.

This week in Luke, Jesus will challenge us to always let our spiritual light shine. He will also remind us that if we’re afraid to share the gospel, God will step in to make sure it gets revealed. Jesus will also prove He is God when He forces nature and the demonic realm to obey Him.

In "Joy on the Journey," from James 1:1-11 we learn that trials are opportunities for spiritual growth, encouraging believers to choose joy and perseverance as God uses life's challenges to build Christ-like maturity and completeness. This passage also reminds both the poor and the wealthy to find their true identity and value in Christ rather than earthly circumstances.

Don't mistake God's patience for powerlessness. When you stand at the crossroads of confronted sin, will you choose the stubbornness that stalls your life, or the repentance that restores it? 2 Corinthians 13 walks us through Gods patient power in life’s most confronting crossroad.

Sometimes it takes the miraculous to remove our doubt, and sometimes we can just believe. Tonight we dig into a deeper understanding of Jesus confirming that He was the Messiah and giving peace to those that were around Him. Perhaps you need to be reminded of what He has done for you and that He is who He said He was!

This week, Paul will explain some of his past statements. We’ll learn he’s been boasting about himself to counteract the false teachers that have crept into the Corinthian church. Then, he will correct the congregation in love because he sees them as his spiritual children. As we study some of false accusations and rumors about Paul, we’ll also be learning how to respond when the same thing happen...

This week Jesus will give us some strong warnings about judging others. He’ll also remind us that whatever judgement we give out to others will be the standard God uses to judge us. He’ll also challenge us to fix our own faults before we dare to point out any of the fault we think we see in others.

In "From Thorn to Throne," 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 teaches that God often uses our weaknesses and struggles—our “thorns”—to humble us, deepen our faith, and connect us with others. Rather than focusing on our hardships, we are called to rely on God’s sufficient grace, finding true strength and power as we praise Him in every situation.

Jesus shares a teaching known as, "The sermon on the plain." This message includes blessings and woes that describe our behavior and attitudes, which leads right into how we are to love our enemies.

In "Living for Christ, No Matter the Cost," taken from 2 Corinthians 11:16-33, we learn to endure hardship, suffering, and even weakness for the sake of the Gospel, seeing that true discipleship often requires great sacrifice. This message encourages believers to remain faithful and humble, trusting that God’s strength is available in our trials and that living for Christ is worth any cost.

In Luke 5 Jesus tells the people He is bringing them a new, better way to interact with God. In Luke 6, we’ll study the conflicts that arise when the Pharisees legalistic traditions clash with the loving, compassionate ministry of Jesus.
