Today we'll finish our study through the book of 2 Samuel and we'll see some of David's last words, we'll have a recounting of David's mighty men and we'll see David make one final mistake as he numbers the fighting men.

Tonight we'll see Jesus send the disciples into a storm and He will bring them to the other side just as He said. The disciples will be in a panic, they will try to fix things on their own but it is not until they cry out to Jesus that they will find a calm in the storm. Then the Lord will minister to a man that no one wants to be around and no one can tame as He sets a man filled with demons free...

This week we will see David really giving us almost like his personal testimony of God's faithfulness and work in his life. David will recount the Lord's power, strength and work on his behalf and he'll speak of what he did when life sure did seem like it was falling apart.

This week we'll continue to look at some of the parables that Jesus taught and we'll begin where we ended in our last study in verse 20 as we talk about the good soil and how you and I can work towards having the right heart as we hear God's Word.

This week we will see an individual named Sheba rebel against David's authority. Eventually Joab will remove this threat. Then we will begin a new section of our study of 2 Samuel as we look at events that took place outside of the chronological order of David's life.

Today we will look at a new way that Jesus began to minister to the crowds and it was through the form of parables...These are stories that when told also conveyed a spiritual truth and today we'll look at perhaps the most famous of all the parables as we look at the sower and the seed.

This week David will learn of his son's death in the battle and he will be torn by what has taken place. Joab will rebuke David for not showing concern and honor for those who fought for him and then we'll see David begin his return to being the king of Israel.

Today we'll see the Lord require the demons to be quiet about who He was and then the Lord will call 12 men to Himself and give them the task of being with Him, preaching and demonstrating the power of God's Kingdom. We'll then see the religious leaders falsely say that Jesus was doing all the things He was by the power of Satan and the Lord will say to them that someone only has power as long as...

Today as we continue on in our study of 2 Samuel we will see that Absalom will meet his end. The Lord will be against this young man as he attempts to take the kingdom from his father and as this unfolds we'll see that the spies that David left behind will be used to turn the counsel of Ahithophel into nothing. At the end of the day it will be Absalom's pride that will get the better of him.

This week we will again see Jesus in 3 separate narratives and today we will really focus on His ministry to those who were considered religious. Jesus as He ministered to the Pharisees loved them while at the same time standing up to them...We should be reminded that love as the world defines it and as God demonstrates it are quite different. This week we will watch as Absalom who has a quiet bitterness deep in his heart over what happened with his sister Tamar plunges into rebellion. He will actually come against his own father attempting to take the kingship from him.

Tonight we will watch as Jesus in 3 separate narratives ministers to those that are in need of His touch and each time they will be given the opportunity to leave as changed individuals. These three will be a leper, a paralytic and a tax collector.

This week we will see that the words that Nathan the prophet spoke to David began to come to pass as the sword begins to devour this family. We'll also see David become a father who refuses to discipline his children and Absalom David's third born son will come into the picture.

Tonight we will see Jesus call four fishermen to "Follow Him", He will teach in a synagogue on the Sabbath, deliver a demon possessed man, heal Peter's mother in law, heal the multitudes who come after the Sabbath ends, spend time with the Father in prayer and then declare that He must continue on to preach the gospel elsewhere.

This week we will see that though David had failed so greatly in his life that God was not willing to leave Him in that place of failure. The Lord will send Nathan the prophet to confront David and we will see that David will come to a place in his life that he confesses his sin and gets right with God. As He does so we will see that God will forgive and restore this man after God's heart.

This week we will have an introduction to the book of Mark and then we'll get in to the first 15 verses of chapter 1. In these verses we will be talking about the prophetic words that pointed to a messenger whose name was John the Baptist and then Jesus "Our Hero" will come on to the scene. He will be baptized in water and then head out to the wilderness to face temptation.

This week we'll look at one of the more well known narratives of the Bible as David makes some of the biggest mistakes of his life. Though David was a man after God's own heart he still had failures. Today we'll talk about the dangers of sin, how to have victory over sin and what to do when we sin as we go through life.

This week we'll finish the book of Malachi and as we do so we'll be discussing both the first and the second coming of Jesus Christ. The first time to save and proclaim a new covenant and the second time to bring judgment on the wicked. We'll also discuss a section of scripture that talks about giving and the requirement of the tithe that was in the law for God's people. We'll then talk about what...

This week we'll be covering three chapters in our study of 2 Samuel. Chapters 8 and 10 will cover the military conquests of David and chapter 9 will speak about a man named Mephibosheth who will be greatly blessed by David.

This week we'll take a look at the first two chapters of the book of Malachi. This book will be filled with correction and we'll focus tonight on primarily the failure of the priests as they poorly represented God.

This week we'll finish our study through the book of Nehemiah as the people will be counted, the wall will be dedicated and the people will break the covenant they made to keep God's Law in their lives. Beginning in chapter 7 we'll see a transition in the book of Nehemiah from the physical rebuilding of the walls to the spiritual rebuilding of the people.
