This week we'll be looking at the courtyard of the tabernacle which will include the largest item used in the worship of God which is the altar of burnt offering...and then we'll be looking at the garments of the high priest and along the way we'll be tying Jesus into the different items and garments we look at.

This week we'll begin our study through the book of 1 Thessalonians. We will do so with a small overview of the book along with some background information and how the church came into existence. We'll then close our time with a few exhortations that we must be ready for the return of Jesus for His church, that we must live our lives in a way that is worthy of our calling and that we must look to...

This week we will begin to look at the ceremonial law which is really God laying out how He wants to be worshipped. And we'll see the Lord command the Israelites to build a tabernacle that He might dwell among them.

This week we'll see David speak about a time in his life that he was in a deep pit...and as he was in that place he cried out to the Lord and the Lord heard his cry and set his feet upon a rock. We'll see David rejoicing in the incredible work that God was doing in him and we'll see him cry out to the Lord to work in his life each day.

This week we will see Moses come down the mountain and minister to the people and then we'll see him go right back up into the presence of God. We'll see that God is unapproachable in the OT and we'll talk about how Jesus has made the way that we might enter into the presence of the Father with great boldness.

This week we'll see that Moses will continue to receive the judgments of God which he would in turn give to the elders who were to judge the people. In the section of scripture we look at this week we'll see that God cares about each individual and desires that His people would rightly take care of each other.

This week we'll be looking at 2 Psalms. The first one found in chapter 38 will focus on David as he found himself in a time of sin. The Lord's hand was heavy upon him and yet as he ran to the Lord comfort was found. And then in chapter 39 we'll see David in a place in his life that he was running to the Lord rather than speaking against those who were against him.

This week guest speaker Pastor Josh Blevins from Grace Calvary Chapel will be sharing from Colossians 4 in a message titled "Why Pastors Need Prayer"

Today we'll be looking at 2 Psalms and we'll see David in Psalm 36 speak of the mercy of God and we'll talk about how undeserving we are of His great love towards us. And then in Psalm 37 we'll see David talking about the wicked of this world and contrasting that with the great blessing of simply committing our ways unto the Lord.

This week we'll see the Lord give Moses the 10 commandments.

This morning we'll see David in a time of despair as he has a lapse of faith and yet the Lord will be faithful through it all...and then we'll look at Psalm 35 as David will cry out to the Lord for deliverance from his enemies.

This evening Graham Wathen from Grace Calvary Chapel will be sharing a word with us from Ruth 1.

This morning we'll continue our study through the book of Psalms. We'll be looking at how the Lord watches over the affairs of this earth...From creation, to the governments of this world to each individual.

This week we'll see the father in law of Moses whose name was Jethro come to Moses and give him some practical advice that he needed to share the burden of ministering to others. Then we'll see Moses at Mt. Sinai with the people of Israel.

This week we'll be looking at 2 Psalms and both of them were written by David. In Psalm 32 we'll be looking at a moment in David's life that he had both slept with another woman and then killed her husband and as we look at this we'll see the Lord both convict this man and then forgive him as he humbly came before the Lord.

This week we'll see the Lord's provision as He gives His people manna from heaven and we'll see the Lord specifically use this food to test His people. We'll then see the Lord provide Water from a rock that was struck and a battle that the Lord will give them victory in.

Today we'll be looking at 3 Psalms and in these Psalms David is going to be crying out to the Lord and he will see the Lord intervene on his behalf...and then we'll see David talk about the majesty and the power of God and the power of His voice...and in our third Psalm we'll see a song of David as he rejoices in the Lord's redemptive work in his life.

Tonight we'll see a song of praise given by the people of Israel as they rejoice in the great work that God has done on their behalf...and then we'll watch as they go right back to being in despair as they have no water to drink. God of course will prove Himself taking care of them and providing what they need while teaching them lessons along the way.

This week again we will be looking at 3 Psalms. David will be in a place in his life that perhaps there were some accusing him of things that weren't true and we'll see David ask the Lord to vindicate him or watch over him in it. We'll also see David seek the presence of God on multiple occasions and express his desire to seek the Lord only.

This week we'll see the children of Israel on the move as they leave the land of Egypt. It won't take long before they encounter difficulty as the Lord would harden the heart of Pharaoh and the army of Egypt would come after them. Then the Lord will do a great miracle on behalf of His people and there will be a great deliverance.

This morning we'll look at perhaps one of the most well-known Psalms in the Bible as we look at Psalm 23 which is a Psalm about David trusting the Lord to be his shepherd in life.

This week we'll see the 10th plague that would come upon the Egyptians and this was the last one that took place before the king and the Egyptians ran the Israelites out of the land. During this plague the first born sons would be killed throughout the land of Egypt. Today we'll look at one of the most well known Psalms in the Bible. Psalm 22 written around 1,000 years before the birth of Jesus gives us incredible details of what our Lord would suffer as He hung upon the cross.

This week we'll see the Lord allow 5 more plagues to come upon the people of Egypt. During each of these we'll see Pharaoh harden his heart and as a result his land and his people will be greatly afflicted. A hard heart never produces anything good. It's better to submit ourselves to the will of God rather than fight it.
