This week the 7th seal will be opened and we'll be introduced to 7 angels who are given 7 trumpets. There will be silence in heaven for what John perceived was 30 minutes. Once the trumpets begin to be blown cataclysmic events happen on planet earth.

Tonight after seeing the Lamb found worthy to take the scroll and having redeemed man to Himself the Lord will begin to open the scrolls. Mayhem will ensue, the antichrist will be revealed, war, famine and death will follow. Then we'll see many that were slain for their faith and finally an incredible earthquake that will deal a blow to the sun, moon and stars.

This week we'll see the disciples continue to fail as James and John will propose calling fire from heaven to consume those that reject them, Jesus will talk about the difficulty of choosing to follow Him, He'll call and send out 70 to go out in to the harvest, Satan will fall like lighting and Jesus will say not to rejoice in what they saw but that their names were written in heaven.

This week we'll be looking at chapter 5 once again and we'll be seeking to answer what exactly is the scroll, and why was it that the Lamb had to die in order to have the authority to take the scroll from the One on the throne.

This week we'll see the Lord transfigured before three of His disciples as they went up together on a mountain. We'll see failure in ministry as the disciples can't cast out a demon. We'll see John get upset because someone is casting out demons in the name of Jesus without following along in their group. We'll see the disciples fighting over who is the greatest and we'll see the Lord loving the 1...

Tonight we'll do an overview of chapter 5 in our study of Revelation. We'll find two major themes as we read through it...the Lamb and the scroll and we'll inspect the text to see what we can learn about these two important topics. In the end we'll see the Lamb being worshipped for the incredible act of redemption that was accomplished on behalf of humanity

This week we'll see the Lord helping those who are in great need. A woman with a prolonged health illness, a synagogue ruler, His own disciples and a large multitude. In each case the people would find themselves lacking but the Lord would give all that was necessary.

I wish it was a church letter that was full of good things but instead we find that it's perhaps the church that the Lord had the worst things to say. This week we'll be looking at a parable most of us are familiar with. It's the sower and the seed. We'll be talking about the 4 different kinds of soil that the Word of God lands upon and we'll talk about how these apply to the lives of those who hear.

Today we'll look at what many call the faithful church. The believers in Philadelphia was known to have an open door, to have little strength, to have kept His Word and they had not denied His name. The Lord made promises to them that they would be spared from the hour of trial that would come upon the whole world and encouraged to hold fast that which they had.

Today we'll be looking at a life that was greatly broken and yet found incredible forgiveness. The Lord ask an important question as he describes two individuals in debt and that debt being forgiven. We'll talk about faith and how it led this woman to find new life. And we'll talk about Simon the Pharisee and his pride.

This week we'll look at a church that on the outside had quite the reputation but the Lord said they were dead. How did things get like this for this church and how do we protect ourselves from getting to that point? There were some that hadn't defiled themselves we are told and they would walk with Him in white.

This week we'll take a look at three different narratives and learn several lessons as we do. Jesus will display complete and total authority over sickness, we'll see the faith of a centurion soldier, we'll see the Lord have compassion on a widow whose only son had died and then we'll see John the Baptist send some of his disciples with some questions for the Lord.

This was a church that had allowed a false prophetess into their midst who was teaching the people that it was just fine to eat food sacrificed to idols and to indulge in sexual immorality. This week we'll finish the Sermon on the plain. Jesus will continue to give the disciples who were listening simple truths about who they would be as they became like their Teacher. The Lord will declare that we are not to judge, that we are to forgive, we are to give abundantly and in order to help others we need to remove the plank from our own eyes.

Tonight we'll look at the church in Pergamos. Similar to the church of Smyrna in that persecution was a part of everyday life and yet some compromised and caved to the system of the world around them. The Lord wants us to be holy and set apart for Him and we are reminded that we can overcome and clearly that's through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We see Jesus once again withdrawal to a quiet place to pray. He'll call 12 apostles and then will begin to teach. We'll look at the beatitudes, and then talk about learning to love our enemies and praying for those that misuse us and even persecute us.
