We continue in the book of Galatians and learn from Paul that we can’t be justified by the Law otherwise Christ died in vain

We finish up chapter 1 and dive into and finish chapter 2. We learn more about (1) Paul’s ministry (2) Christ’s ministry (3) how philosophy and traditions of men deceive and cheat us of Christ. We continue to learn about our freedom in Christ and His saving, redemptive work

We learn how Colossians is a “theological vaccine” against heresy as we learn that Jesus is God and what it means to be the “firstborn” and “firstfruits” of creation. We also learn about the doctrine of justification and how Jesus now reconciled us to God and salvation

The final part to our Discipleship series (Part 2) as we continue in our study through Philippians 2:5-30. The 3 main points from this study are: humility, servanthood, and obedience. (3/3/23)

Our guest speaker feeds us with an encouraging topical study through 1 Peter. We are given 8 main points pertaining to characteristics of a born again and redeemed (godly) woman.

The second part to the study “The Voices In Our Head”. The women return from their workshop and we continue to learn on the topic of our study with life applications. The study ends with a time of worship and some of the women share their thoughts and wisdom concerning the study. (9/30/22)

Guest speaker Marcella Roark from Calvary Chapel Golden Springs shares with us the dangers of spiritual heart conditions and ultimately spiritual heart failure. We also gain encouragement from her testimony in how she came to the Lord during the darkest time in her life and how the Lord completely transformed and restored her marriage.

This study focuses on two themes: abiding and pruning. We study Jesus’ words on the doctrine of abiding and also discuss the pruning process in our spiritual lives which can be painful at first, but necessary and fruitful in the end.

We continue our study through Philippians and learn about humility, waiting on the Lord, and having the right motives in these verses. We learn how we can inspire one another in boldness as Paul inspired the believers to preach Christ while in his chains.

We pick up where we left off in our previous study and cover Philippians 1:7-13. We can learn from Paul’s example to pray for others during our trials and how to have joy in the midst of suffering.

Introduction to the book of Philippians. We learn the background of this epistle and how the Philippian church was founded as we see in Acts. We then dive in depth verse-by-verse from verses 1-6 in Chapter 1.
