Cally Raduenzel's Podcast Lunatic Fringe

Part memoir and part Chicago remembrances of the last 20+ years. Dish on Chicago music, bars, unique characters, odd jobs and zesty stories of questionable life choices with the city and the author being your travel guide. This is the dedication of author Cally Raduenzel's "Chicago Stories: An Outsider's View from the Inside". 

Cally talks about and plays snippets from Way of the West" an 80's brit band she found crate digging, she also talks about French Canadian comix, art, and finding comedy in tough times. Just a little break from the same ol' shit!

The best things about legendary Chicago corner bars like Phyllis' Musical Inn, Chicago live music and Mike Felten (a musical troubadour since the 60's). His story as well as many other cool "insider's view from an outsider"... Cally our author gives the light hearted skinny on these topics and more...so much more! David Berman was a great song writer who killed himself. BUT he left behind one of the most profound YET bouncy/ poignant/ and unforgettable music  albums  with his band Purple Mountains. He was a smart man, deep soul, wordsmith and in my humble opinion genius.
