We told you a few weeks back  that Sharon Osbourne was hoping to bring back Ozzfest. This week the widow of Ozzy Osbourne confirmed that  she has every intention of bringing the heavy metal festival back . 

We told you yesterday  that Metallica was adding six more shows to their Vegas Sphere residency, though at the time they didn't say which dates.  Now we know . 

The Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter have  announced their rescheduled North American shows . 

As expected, demand for tickets to see Metallica in their Las Vegas Sphere residency has been incredibly high, so to accommodate,  the band is set to add more dates  to their stay in Sin City. 

The 2026 BRIT Awards were held over the weekend, but for classic rock fans the main reason to tune in was  the tribute to Ozzy Osbourne . 

Speaking on the " Rock of Nations " show late last week, Sammy Hagar and bassist/vocalist Michael Anthony were asked if they are participating in the project.

The trailer for the long awaited Billy Idol documentary, aptly titled "Billy Idol Should Be Dead,"  is out .

Iron Maiden is planning ahead...way ahead. They've announced two shows in Japan November 24th and 25th, but after that, they plan on taking some time off.

Social Distortion is  adding a North American leg  to their extensive 2026 tour. 

 "Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition" follows the New Wave of British Heavy Metal godfathers from their start over 50 years ago to their current legendary status. 

For a band that was reluctant to tour again, Rush's "50 Something Tour" is turning into a lengthy excursion covering much of the globe.  Yesterday the band announced  it was adding South American dates to the trek, which already consisted of extensive runs in North America and Europe. 

Louder Than Life has revealed its full 2026 lineup, its biggest ever, with  nearly 200 bands set to play September 17th through the 20th at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville . 

We also told you that Rock n' Roll Hall of Famer Paul Rodgers was asked to sing on the project, but declined...with Van Halen citing the singer's poor health as the reason he passed on the offer. Now  Rodgers is responding to the report. On social media..

In a wide-ranging interview with "Ultimate Classic Rock,"  Jonathan Cain says that overtures have been made to get Perry to join the band for one or more shows on the band's upcoming tour, and apparently Perry hasn't shot the idea down.

Alex Van Halen is working on an album of unfinished Van Halen material, and he's looking for a singer near his own age, with similar musical influences.  Otherwise, he says, "it doesn't have the depth."

Jack Osbourne sat down with Billy Corgan for his "The Magnificent Others" podcast, and  the conversation was largely about his father , Ozzy Osbourne.
