On sanyas, happiness, and overthinking.

I read a writing prompt on "नारी", I ignored it at the moment but this word kept scratching the back of my head, and I subconsciously started looking for the meaning of "नारी", here I am, after I experienced the truth. The truth many people are not ready to hear, as we love glorifying this word without really seeing the filth that lies behind being one.

जूंझ रही हूं ज़माने से, अपनों से, वक्त से और अपनेआप से, तो कभी कभी लगता है के क्यों, क्यों मैं यूं लड़ती हूं? क्यों मैं उन जैसी नहीं, क्यों मुझे गलत, गलत लगता है, क्यों मुझे सब कुछ साफ़ साफ़ दिखता है? क्यों मैं सबकी तरह आंखे मूंद नहीं सकती? क्यों मैं इन लिपटी जंजीरों से नाता जोड़ नहीं सकती? क्यों मुझे ज़िन्दगी से कुछ और चाहिए, क्यों? बस, यही लिखा और बोल दिया। जवाब, शायद कभी मिले, तो उसे भी लिख दूं...

These are the two of my favourite poetries that I've written in hindi. It was the time when I was so much in love with a person that I was ready to fight for him with the world. It was the most beautiful and painful experience of my life. Hope you will be able to feel it too.
