Jesus went up to the mountain to pray. It was then that the transfiguration happened. Peter and those with him were heavy with sleep and they almost missed the display of His glory.

Jesus is asked to heal the daughter of Jairus. Jesus tells him, "Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well." Fear and faith don't mix.

A woman who has a medical condition that makes her unclean. She has suffered with this condition for 12 years and she has spent all of her money on physicians to no avail. She sneaks up on Jesus to touch the tassel of his outer garment, displaying her incredible faith.

A demon-possessed man goes to Jesus. Jesus asks him his name and he replies, "Legion." Jesus casts the demons into a herd of pigs who are driven off of a cliff into water.

Some Pharisees ask Jesus why his followers aren't fasting. He uses a parable of a wedding feast to demonstrate his answer. 

Luke 5:27-32 - The Tax Collector 15.02.2025

Jesus meets Levi the Tax Collector. In the culture at that time, tax collectors were despised and brought shame to their families. Jesus shows his character by choosing him to be the Apostle Matthew.
