Daniel in the lion’s den is one of the most recognized stories in the Bible. It’s often used to inspire civil disobedience when laws conflict with biblical truth. But Daniel didn’t pray in protest; prayer was a regular practice in his life. How did Daniel’s faith thrive in such a hostile environment? When we forgive completely, we’re releasing that person from any obligation to repay us, which is exactly how God forgives us. So, how do we live in the freedom of forgiveness?
