Last week we addressed our faith. If our faith doesn't move us to do something, then it's dead. This week we talk about responding to the instructions provided to us in the Bible. Responding to other's needs is personal. Look for the potential in broken people because responding to their needs is responding to Jesus.

What's your thought when you don't see the church doing anything? There's a common saying that 80% of the work is done by 20% of the people. Is there any truth to that? Some say there is. If the church isn't moving is it dead? Faith without movement is dead. If your faith doesn't compel you to move, then that faith is useless. So what kind of faith do you have?

Sometimes we have to press the Pause button to figure out what's go on in life. Do we ever do this with God? We're so busy that we add God to our "To-Do" list. Before long God becomes just another item on our list who we only make so much time for in our schedule. Do you want to worship the God who Is? or the god who fits on your calendar...

Temptation is something that effects all of us. "Should I have dessert tonight?" "That one little white light won't hurt right?" We have been conditioned by society to blame others for our downfall or sin. But sometimes we have to look in the mirror and realize that The Problem Is Me.

The third and final sermon in this series continues with our study of the story of Jonah. What does God expect of us? We have often get wrapped up in this world with judgement and deciding who is "right". How much does your heart look like God's? Do you share God's love for lost people? Sometimes it's not about who's right and who's wrong, but rather, just loving them.

Last week we learned that the book of Jonah is a story about God. This week we remain focused on this premise and learn not only how merciful our God is, but also how Powerful He is.

We start a new series with the story of Jonah and the whale. What can we learn from the story of Jonah? God uses this story to show His Sweet Mercy and His grace. His message is not one of picking on Jonah, but rather I Love You.

We've been looking at Gods call for us and our honor and price lodge to experience this journey. Today we continue this notion and look at moving on. Has your spiritual life become stagnant? Finish the race, continue the call.

Have you thought lately about Becoming What God Wants You To Be? Throughout this life we will encounter weeds. Don't be so challenged that you become part of the problem though. Be responsible for you. Our job isn't to pull the weeds, but rather be the God's crop, wheat. Without God we are all weeds, but with Him we will be wheat and will bear fruit.

Are we always clear on What Really Matters? Are you certain that the Call God has placed on your life is What Really Matters to you? We've been focusing on the Call of Mose's lately and how he handled it. Is it possible that we focus too much on the "to-do" and lose site of God's intensions?

What happens when God Calls you to something that isn't going smoothly? What if, in the process people you care about get hurt? Today we focused on these questions. Perhaps sometimes when things get hard, that's not God closing a door, but rather, things are just hard. God came through before and He will come through again.

At some point in our lives we've all been Called to do something difficult. Maybe it's discipling someone, doing something at your job or having to forgive someone. No matter how good of a Christian you are, the easiest thing to do is to question God. However, maybe when God Calls you to do something, it's not really about you.

Sometimes in life, as in sports, theres no SURE THING. "They would never do that" or 'They would never go down that path" some people say. The surprise of an unexpected event can magnify the pain and we begin to lose hope because nothing feels sure. However, one thing in life is for sure. We are NOT ALONE. He is always with us and fighting for us.

Have you ever wondered "God, why am I here?". What hope do we have when when we get stuck in a rut? Our Father!! He guides us. He takes us on straight paths. Sometimes our paths seem lengthy, but there is always a purpose for His will.

We can continue to look at Psalm 23. In today's passage, David writes "I lack nothing" despite being pursued by the enemy. We often look to the world and objects to provide our comfort and security, but the only TRUE comfort is through the Father.

When you walk with God He goes ahead of us. He supplies us with all our needs and defeats all evil. If you have faith He will bless you, but not always on our terms.

At one point or another we've walked through the valley of the shadow of death. Feeling like your not enough, battling a temptation or going through a broken relationship. David went through the same things and had no fear because our God and savior was with him. Is God enough for you when everything seems to be going wrong?

Do you ever find yourself in the midst of tremendous pain even when everything on the outside is great? David was in a similar spot when he wrote a poem in Psalm 23. If that describes you today, know that you are Not Alone.

Life is more than what you do. It's about who you are. When we come to church do we make it about us or about Jesus? When we don't like the music, or the person sitting in front of you, is church really about you or Jesus? It's really about us being together in Him.

What's your threshold? What cost is to high for you to pay to follow Jesus. Who is it that God made us to be? Look at the picture at the beginning of Acts and compare it to the picture of your life. How do they compare? When times get tough, are you unflinching in your faith?

Have you seen somebody ordinary accomplish something extraordinary? Today we look into Acts again at the story when the Holy Spirit comes at Pentecost. This is the center piece of the entire series. To be the church, is to be filled with the Holy Spirit. It's not what we can do, but rather what the Holy Spirit does. So are you filled with His spirit?

If we properly understand our identity and what role we have wouldn't everything run so much smoother? When we don't know our role, we live in a place of anxiety and chaos. Last week we began the series with the identity of who the church is. As we get into Acts, we see God shapes the identity of those within the church.

Easter not only tells us who Jesus is, but it also tells us who we are! Today we looked at three stories about Mary Magdalene, Thomas and Peter. Check out the sermon. Which story is yours?

Throughout our lives we develop a series of patterns. This could be your morning routine, how you get dressed...etc . Sometimes though, we have to break our patterns just as Jesus did in today's passage. There were three kinds of voices in the story, which one do you see yourself as?
