There are ancient accounts of floods and gardens thought to be legend. Some Of these Stories like the flood have their versions across different continents and peoples. The core of these accounts seem to stay the same no matter how they are told, is this a coincidence? I say no.

Has it ever dawned on you that through the book of Jonah account he was the only Hebrew. The mariners were gentile, probably from Tarshish the people of Nineveh are gentiles, citizens of Assyria. So the big question that remains, is the Old Testament just about the Hebrew people? I believe the answer is obviously no.

Was Jonah fleeing out of fear or hatred? in this episode I explore that question. Wrapping up the Book of exodus I have thoroughly enjoyed going through this book even with my limited knowledge.

How Much are we wrong about when it comes to bible doctrine, prophecy, and truth in general because of Pride, despite the clear Bible evidence to the contrary of whatever it is we believe. So my question is how much is hidden in plain site because of our unwillingness to budge on tradition and or false teaching.

Does God involve himself in the details of life, I say if you look at the design of the tabernacle and all its items it is a resounding yes.

How Much of what we know and or believe is loosely based on things we have heard without ever checking on these things.

The Lord Jesus Christ told the crowd who sought to stone him "search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me". In this we come to find and know that the scriptures point to him, so in all these descriptions and details of the building of the tabernacle we should seek to find the greater meaning towards Christ. In reading the book of Exodus chapter 37 I begin to ask myself if understanding the Israelite customs and culture especially of this Time would perhaps help me to understand the book better. Here we have more details given on the efforts of Bezaleel and the rest of the skilled laborers, in the construction of the ark and the tabernacle.

It is easy to look at Jonah as a failure and completely sold to rebellion. I won't tell you that that isn't a fair assessment but I will say that assessment might be missing some context. In this world there is a battle for control but the field of valor is not some grass strip or mountain peek,  but the thoughts and processes of the mind.

I see this debate every year during this time ,do I celebrate Christmas? is it a pagan holiday? am I violating God by partaking in the days festivities? I can not give anyone license to do or not to do something I can not stand in Gods place over your conscience. Biblically I see nothing wrong with Christmas Day. I don't worship nor believe in Santa clause, I don't worship the Christmas tree it is...

The Hebrew people follow the instructions and craft the tabernacle.

The People have more than enough for the tabernacle and priestly garments.

The People offer precious items to the lord's service willingly. God at this moment shows how he has blessed some among the Hebrew people to work the work of constructing the tabernacle.

Moses gives the people the commandments as delivered to him by God. The importance of the sabbath day is focused on, and the people who are willing are instructed to give precious items for the construction of the tabernacle and the priestly garments. 

Moses intercedes between God and the children of Israel delivering his message to them. The people who inhabit the lands being handed over to Israel have practiced idolatry, the Hebrew people have been warned about intermingling with these groups and taking on their ways.

Moses goes back up to mount Sinai but this time he has to hew out the two stones and carry them up for God to write on them . This is a contrast from the first tablets which were both provided to moses by God and written on by God . As He talks with God he proclaims his name to Moses, and at the hearing of that name Moses falls down to worship.

Moses Speaks with god as a man speaks to his friend which is completely astonishing. Moses upon his request to see God in his fullness learns no man can see God in this manner and live.

The children of Israel are at the crossroads of mercy and judgment, and it is indeed a bitter sweet pill.

Upon returning from mount sinai Moses is very displeased at what he finds. The children of Israel have sold themselves to idolatry in the time Moses was on sinai talking with God, and judgment comes.

Moses has a discussion with God and makes intercession to God for the people, appealing for mercy.
