You can be that priceless vessel, ready to be used by God. 

Send us Fan Mail Why did Jesus and His disciples sail across the Sea of Galilee, in a horrific storm, just to land in a place where they are going to leave in a matter of moments and then sail right back to where they came from? Why go to such lengths? Because the Savior had a soul to save. He would go that far for you, too. 

Send us Fan Mail A Roman Legion consisted of 6,000 soldiers. Today we meet a man who calls himself Legion because of the overwhelming multitude of demons inside of him. He is the picture of the devastating effects of lostness on a person. He shows us on the outside what it looks like on the inside for a person without Jesus in his life. And it is a terrible condition. 

Send us Fan Mail When Peter healed the man begging alms at the Gate Beautiful just outside the Temple, he let everyone know that this man’s life had been transformed by the power of the resurrected Jesus. This same Jesus has the capability of forgiving you, restoring you, and making you fully whole.  

Send us Fan Mail The Message of Easter is the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. It’s not about bunnies – bunnies can’t change your life. It’s not about colored, hidden eggs – eggs can’t change your life. But the resurrection of Jesus from the dead has full capability to change your life and the lives of everyone you know.

Send us Fan Mail  It is interesting that as Paul tells Timothy how to be God’s Unashamed Worker, that he spends the bulk of his time talking to him about avoiding arguments, squashing squabbles, and denying false doctrine. Rather we want to be that worker who relies upon God for everything we need. 

Send us Fan Mail The Bible says that we believers are to “be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed.” When I am presented before God for inspection, I don’t want to stand there ashamed. And so Paul tells us how we might be that Unashamed Worker according to what we do for the Lord. 

Send us Fan Mail The old song says, “I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God / I’ve been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood.” Gladly, I have been saved by Jesus and Christ and brought in to His family. Even some of Jesus’ half-brothers and sisters could eventually say, “I’m a part of the family, the family of God.“ 

Send us Fan Mail Bill and Gloria Gaither really hit the mark when they wrote the song, The Family of God. But not everyone is a part of the family of God, and then there are people who are upset at the family of God. In Luke 8, that includes Jesus’ own biological family. Some were unbelievers and some were down-right annoyed with Jesus. This is a message the family of God needs to be reminded of. 

Send us Fan Mail Concerning the prophet Hosea, the Bible says, “When the Lord began to speak BY Hosea, the Lord said TO Hosea…” and then finishes with what God said to him. The principal is that before we speak for God, we need to hear God speak to us. 

Send us Fan Mail As children we learned the song, “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.” What were we singing about? We were singing about our testimonies and how we must not be ashamed to let it be known. So, friends, “Let Your Little Light Shine.”

Send us Fan Mail  Because of the Great Commission, you are a seed-sower. Everywhere we go, we are to be sowing seeds of the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And what He grows from that is phenomenal.

After telling the story of Simon and the Sinner, Luke gives the example of 3 others who were genuine disciples. Check this out.

Paul shares some easy to relate to people for Timothy to emulate as he looks to be more fruitful in his ministry. 

Send us Fan Mail We all want to be fruitful in our ministry, and in the ways we serve the Lord. We remember that Jesus said that we must abide in Him; without Him we can do nothing, but with Him we should bear much fruit. Paul provides Timothy with a small formula on what that looks like fleshed out. Let’s implement this same recipe.  

Send us Fan Mail Pastor Tim States Being forgiven is more than I can fathom. Why the Holy God would care about a rotten sinner like me blows my mind. Yet He does. And because He does, I want the rest of my life to be lived in the overwhelming reality of that thought. 

Send us Fan Mail A song we sing in church says, “Everyone needs forgiveness, the kindness of a Savior.” What an absolute truth. Everyone does need forgiveness, and the Good News is that everyone can find forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
