2008-2009 one-take improvised recordings. Used a slide for most of it. Overdubbed an electric drum kit and spoken vocals from the Buddhist text "A Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life" on track 8.I made this while living at Bristol Square Apartments in Newton. Pretty frustrating trying to record with people on the other side of every wall, floor, and ceiling. I was pretty self-conscious about my singing at this point and would have really preferred some privacy to work out my voice with. I don't think my neighbors enjoyed it much either.
