On this first day of Autumn, Barry welcomes local author William F. Gray to the podcast to discuss his new psychological thriller, "The Man Behind The Door".   The mystery is full of suspense, heartache and twists and is inspired by the struggles of William's father.

September is 'Childhood Cancer Awareness Month'.  Barry's guest on this episode is a young woman that he crossed paths with on the radio airwaves when she was a teenager battling cancer, and they reconnect here, 13 years later.

The Winchester-Frederick County 'Relay for Life' to benefit the American Cancer Society and local services takes place on Saturday, September 10th.  Barry's guest on this episode is Theresa Gilbert who shares all the fun things that will occur and invites all cancer survivors to join in on the celebration.

It's a Picnic and Pool Paw-ty (Party) for dogs at the Clearbrook Pool on Saturday, 9/10 from 12:00 to 3:00.  Barry's guest on the podcast is Ashley Ferguson with Frederick County Parks and Rec.

Barry's guest is his good friend and former co-worker at WINC Radio, John Bloom.  John was the PA announcer for James Wood High School football for over 40 years, and his retirement and service were honored by the school and the community this past Friday night.
