It's all about 'All Hallows Eve' on Barry's podcast today including the candy-corny jokes, how old is too old to trick-or-treat and tips on ordering pizza delivery tonight.

It's National Chocolate Day and Frankenstein Friday, and Barry turns his attention to the bowl of candy by the front door in anticipation of trick-or-treaters.  What candy is most desired by little goblins (and adults)? ... plus a confession that he wasn't crazy about his mom's choice of 'peanut butter taffy kisses' ...

Barry revisits horror movies on this episode and shares the life-lessons that they can provide us with.  He also talks about coming out of his 'comfort zone' in 2015 to sing a short duet with Lee Greenwood (today is Lee's birthday). 

It's 'National Pumpkin Day' and Barry shares some history as well as the health benefits from this fruit (yes, a fruit, not a veggie).  This is also the perfect day to recite the old comparison women like to share at this time of year:  Why pumpkins are better than men!

With Halloween approaching, and on "Chucky, The Notorious Killer Doll Day", Barry shares one of his favorite scary movies from 1974.  He also goes into the science of why people like to watch horror movies.  

Lynda Tyler of the '2 For 2 Foundation' is Barry's guest as the big day to attempt two world records is coming up Saturday, October 29th.  The Guiness Record for the World's Largest Human Ice Cream Cone and Most People Eating An Ice Cream Sandwich At The Same Time are at stake to focus attention on the campaign to bring an indoor swimming pool and ice rink to our community.   

Barry's special guest on this episode is the Executive Director of the Winchester Rescue Mission, Brandan Thomas.  Brandan will be pulling an 'all-nighter' on Wednesday, 10/26 as he raises funds and holds 'conversations from a bench' about homelessness in our community.

Barry makes the difficult decision to confess his hoarding tendencies when it comes to the extra paper napkins the waitress sets down on your table at a restaurant.  It's recycling ... and they make great handkerchiefs....they were just going to be thrown away, right?
