In a back and forth couple of games, Marcus Foligno stood very tall, scoring three goals and adding a pretty spectacular setup to Luke Kunin along the way. After an awesome win in Colorado, the Minnesota Wild struggled mightily vs the Islanders and Toronto. The Minnesota Wild went from borderline spectacular in Tampa Bay, to downright awful vs Carolina and Anaheim. Sure the Wild got a point against the Ducks, but there was no life what-so-ever for the first 28 minutes of that game. For the first time in seven years, the Minnesota Wild will miss the playoffs, being mathematically eliminated by the Colorado Avalanche in the standings.
