Today, we launched a new sermon series, Called In. As we, and all of society, re-learn what it means to be in community, what might it look like for us to call each other in as opposed to call each other out? Today, we focus on calling ourselves in and turn to 1 Kings 19:1-15.

This morning, we welcomed Rev. Janelle Kurtz, Lead Pastor of Snohomish United Methodist Church, in a pulpit swap! Preaching from Jeremiah 32:1-17, she challenged us to live into our call to invest in our communities, not just for today, but also for future generations! 

Today, we welcome our new Director of Youth Ministries, Sarah Underbrink, as she preached on Joel 2:23-28. How might we all live into the preferred future God has in store for us as we share in experiences and encounters with each other and with God? 

Today, we welcome the Rev. Ashley Skinner-Creek, Associate Director of Graduate Programs at Seattle Pacific Seminary and Associate Director of the Leitourgia Project. Preaching from John 13:1-20, she challenges us to expand our understanding of community as serving and receiving service with our neighbors. What might it look like to be an intimate community, not a perfect one, but an intimate one?...

This week, we welcome the Puget Sound District Superintendent, Rev. Mark Galang, as we kickoff a month of hearing from friends of Bothell on how we might live into our purpose of Becoming Christ in the Community. Preaching from Luke 10:1-20, Rev. Mark challenges us to think about in what ways we are being sent: perhaps, it's not alone, but WITH community! 

This week, Pastor Joe wraps up our sermon series, Everyday Prophecy, by turning to Jeremiah 23:1-6. As we have journeyed all series, how might God be inviting us to be prophetic? How might God be inviting us to reclaim community? 

What does it mean to proclaim God's vision even in the context of a dominant culture of Christian white nationalism? This week, Pastor Joe continues in our Everyday Prophecy series exploring Ezekiel 2:1-5 and asking how we can humbly open our heart to God's truth.

This week, Pastor Kristin Joyner (Pastor for Community Engagement) preaches from John 12:20-33 continuing our Lent sermon series, Again and Again. In this sermon, she navigates the different between change and reformation, and invites us to think about what needs to fall in order for new life to flourish! 

This week, we continue our Lent series, Again and Again, following the curriculum from A Sanctified Art. Drawing from John 3:1-21, we meet Nicodemus, who went to see Jesus in the middle of the night. How does Jesus challenge him to change his values and understanding of the world? And how might we change our values to align with God's preferred future for the world?
