Tommy Boyd and Gordon Mousinho met as next-door neighbours when they were schoolboys. They attended the same school, and played football together in the playground. What turned into a lifelong bromance was sweetened beyond belief when Gordon's son John was appointed manager of Tommy's team - Portsmouth FC.Today they meet up every fortnight at Fratton Park to share beer, remember the days when they fell in love with the game, and gird their loins for the coming match. Now they journey back through their harklings for bygone days when football seemed somehow purer, and more magical....Or was it....
