Bohacz & Frenz
I consider myself a fringe transmedia conceptual artist and have experimented with all kinds of media like drawing, performance, writing, music, painting, moviemaking, game design since I was quite young. I'd love it if you would check out what I've got going here in the sound department.

Musical Sketch: We Are Contained 23.12.2023 1:45
Michael Davis wrote this musical sketch. Mike played electronic synthesizer and rhythm equipment that he had. A visitor played what sounds like my Stratocaster in my absence. I'm not pleased. Note to self: Mike probably recorded this in his Chicago apartment on West School Street near North Racine Avenue sometime in or after 1979? Or was it the loft that Mike later rented on Division? near Ashland...
Musical Rehearsal: Guttersnipe 22.12.2023 2:24

I sang lead vocal on this musical rehearsal. Mike played electronic synthesizer and rhythm equipment that he had. I played my Fender Stratocaster. Here's where you can hear different versions of this song: ht...

Piano Improvisations 18.12.2023 19:46
I edited “Improvisations” from different sections of an 8-track cartridge tape I recorded that I called “Mike In Concert.” I made the 8-track for my brother Buddy's family sometime in or after the fall of 1976. That's my niece Donna and nephew Jimmy, Buddy's children, in the picture with me. My brother Monte appears framed in a photo.
Triangular Eye 18.12.2023 25:33
I recorded this piece sometime after January 1981 when I began working at Faith Chapel Radio Recording Studio in Berwyn, Illinois (yes, Svengoolie's Berwyn). The studio had at least two quarter inch reel-to-reel tape recorders. I used them to bounce a multitrack recording forward and backward. I played piano and electric guitar.
Guttersnipe 1 18.12.2023 1:46
Michael Wayne Davis wrote the song lyrics and I wrote the music to his words. He remarked that the music was a departure from what he wanted but he didn't come up with anything to replace it. Mike sang lead, I played electric guitar, Ralph Warchol was on electric bass. Ralph and I sang backup vocals. This was recorded on December 13, 1981 in a house that Mike rented in Oak Park, Illinois. Here's w...
Artificial Heart 13.12.2023 2:54
I wrote this song sometime after December 1, 1982 when the first clinical use of an artificial heart designed for permanent implantation was in the news. My very talented friend Ralph Warchol purchased a quarter inch reel-to-reel 8 channel recorder with which he outfitted his luxurious basement. This song was the first we recorded with his new toy. I sang and played electric guitar. Ralph sang bac...
No One Realizes 07.12.2023 3:42

Freda's coming in a boat behind the stats followed by A flying saucer from the planet Krel with a milli...
A Day Happens 05.12.2023 3:11
"The sun rises in the east and it sets in the west And a day happens in-between. Chroisyavana greets the dawning and the sunlight stretches in. Hear the laughter. Dinisdugavindaveda, Everything is new when I am in tune. Dinisdugavindaveda, oh! The sun rises in the east and it sets in the west And a day happens in-between." I'm guessing I recorded this sometime in 1977 when I was 19 years old. Insp...
Lovin' Is All That I Do 04.12.2023 2:12
I wrote the song, sang, played all the instruments, if memory serves. I multitracked this recording with two tape recorders. The first recording made the basic track of upright piano with my vocal. I then played the recording back through speakers into a second miced recorder while I performed on another instrument and sang backing vocal. I continued to bounce recordings this way to include acoust...
