Michele joins Darek and Kelly in the studio for the first official "Talkin' Balls" segment. There is much robust debate over whether there are more doors or more wheels in the world while Butchie and Maisel run tight security in the BCP studio. 

In an earlier than usual recording time, Darek and Kelly tackle tough topics like global health crises, PO box eggs, and anniversary toilet seats. The bell is working overtime this week.  

Refreshed after a vacation in sunny Florida, Darek joins Kelly in the studio where they quickly realize they're both in a wonky mood and are fighting for their lives during this episode.  Thank you to our pal Mel for the shout-out and to the new listeners. Welcome aboard!

Longtime friends and longtime listeners Colyer and Shemmy join the show by phone to test a variety of edgy (some might even say exotic) potato chips. No one remembered to take a pic of the chips in the studio, mostly because Darek was overwhelmed by sodium and Kelly was distracted by tote bags.

Darek & Kelly joined forces and made the Champlain Valley Fair a family event this year.  Kelly eases into life as an elder fair-goer and Darek reflects on the high cost of fun and the need for increased goat-safety protocols. Both Taylor Swift and the Tooth Fairy prompt some real talk, and Darek's discovery of the adjustbility of the mics might make the show sound taller.

Kelly and Darek return to the mic to discuss Darek's juggling prowess and Kelly proves her talent for music trivia is fleeting at best. Darek offers a brief yet impactful grammar lesson and Kelly learns that it's difficult to sneeze without moving. Back from their unplanned/sort of planned summer hiatus, Kelly and Darek are back in the studio, ripping through topics in their usual fashion. Kelly spends entirely too much time talking about basement insulation and Darek spends entirely too little time talking about watching 90's rap videos in his car. 

After a series of editing mishaps, this recording was accidentally deleted and eventually recovered. Kelly and Darek are going to avoid pushing their luck so we're going to just share this episode of Bitter Coffey right now before anything else happens to it.  

After nearly cutting off her finger with a lesbian pocketknife, Kelly and co-host Darek give shoutouts to new listeners, work through the joy(s) of hat-buying and hat-wearing, and read some AI-generated emails. The descerning listening will be able to hear the exact moment your hosts use the last of their mental and physical energy. 

Michele from the Palardy Foundation sits in on the third mic, where Darek and Kelly flip through Michele's high school diaries. Kelly got trapped in her own belt several times last week without an escape technique, and Darek shares his frustrations working with a teenage salesperson at a car dealership. Butchcie and Maisel join the show, and tensions are high between Kelly and Alexa. 

Darek and Kelly decide that drinking Zero Sugar Dr Pepper during an early morning recording session would be a great idea. Many listeners could easily argue to the contrary.
