Billie is Jean, a confused L.A. screenwriter overwhelmed by feelings of inadequacy, frustration, self-loathing, and by the screenwriting ambitions of his freeloading twin brother Gibby. While struggling to adapt to "Vine," Jean's life spins from pathetic to bizarre.
