This is about a myth on the Hudson River in New York. It was named Mohikontok from ancient time. The name mOhiKonTok was given by the Native American who lived by the river in New York. Hudson came to USA around 15th century. The Hudson River was know as Mohikontok river before it was named by Hudson River.
