Ain't no love in the heart of the city. I hear bad talk about Apache Junction, Arizona, but from my experience I see it way differently. So much to do, so much to speak proudly of.

Starting the morning feeling gloomy, I was able to snap out of my funk and end my day on a high note all thanks to spending time in nature at Buffalo Park in Flagstaff, Arizona. Music provided by D7.

I tried one before I bought one. And I'm glad I did because renting an RV lot assured me that living the life was exactly what I want to be about. Now I love the good, the bad, and all the adventures that come along with it.

Nothing like hot fun in the summertime. It's an acquired taste, and I'm someone never scared of the desert heat. This time, I travel to Catalina State Park in Tucson, Arizona for some summer camping in my Jayco travel trailer.

Skyline Regional Park in Buckeye, Arizona is a perfect example of a recreational site that offers something for everyone. I enjoyed my day trip to the park and love that it's a fun filled spot I can visit that's not that far from home.

I love being around water. Visiting Patagonia Lake state park helped me realize that as much as I like being one with nature, I love it just as much being around a crowd of like-minded people having a good time.

I got to enjoy another piece of Arizona outdoor wonderfulness when I made a day trip to Prescott to Watson Lake Park for some hiking and a picnic type of visit. This small 70 acres park is such a gem that packs in some big time fun.

I like for my cooking during a camping trip to be kept simple. Going forward, I want to make cooking even easier by removing the need for a fridge or a stove. Check out what's on my menu for my next camping adventure.

I love spring. It's my birth month, and the best time for camping in AZ before the summer heat takes over. Before I take on brand new adventures, I decided to share some of my favorite outdoors destinations.

Recently, I visited Fort Verde State Historic Park to learn more about this past Arizona military compound, and to embrace some of America's and Arizona's true black superheroes, The Buffalo Soldiers.
