It is. considered the holiest site for Jews, and Muslims also revere it. My sister actually found some tile dating to around 38 AD in an archaeological dig near there. God bless you!

This is quite likely the Synagogue Jesus gave His Bread of Life soliloquy at in John 6. It was found underneath a 5th century AD Synagogue, and was made of black basalt. A Synagogue where Jesus taught! Wow! God bless you today!
