Bible Words Of Truth Podcast

Over the years this question is one that I have addressed in private studies many times. We will be looking into various careers in addition to being a soldier. Hopefully this will cause deeper thought and study about a Christian’s career choices.

There are a lot of people in unhappy marriages. One of the causes of this is the lack of thought that often occurs before people get married. This Scriptural study is intended to bring about thoughts to help those who are or will be considering marriage.  Even for those married, it is good to be reminded of our roles and responsibilities as God desires in our marriages.

God's word very clearly teaches that it is God's desire for His people to be humble. This can be challenging in our present world. Journey with me, through some Scriptures and applications, as we think about humility.

Did you know that Jesus wants His people to take time for leisure? Did you know that you are permitted by the Lord to enjoy certain days above others and that what does those are can be decided by you? Did you know that being about all work and no leisure is actually the opposite of what God wants for you? Listen to this Podcast and get a balanced lesson about enjoying things in this world.

You often hear: "My preacher said" or "the elders have decided..." when talking about spiritual decisions that have been made by churches and/or individuals. The problem is, these men most often are speaking and acting in areas wherein they are not authorized to do so. This Podcast deals with these things.

Did you know that Jesus taught about investing and how your heart is where your treasure is? Have you considered the balance between spiritual things and material wealth? We will look at the Scriptures on these things and more in this Podcast.

Does God teach us that we should not make any future plans? Does He desire that we just figure things out as they come without thinking about tomorrow at all? We are going to examine the Scriptures on this and see how we should act in a responsible fashion according to God's word. We will see the balance of thinking ahead without being anxious about tomorrow.

In whom do you trust? Do you think the best of men can actually guarantee things will be as they say? Do you realize how uncertain things in this world actually are? At the same time, have you taken the time to think about the surety that exists with trusting in our Creator?

If you live long enough, you will face adversity in this lifetime. This is magnified if you are a faithful Christian. How will you handle such times? Do you even think about it? How strong are you? We will use the Scriptures to think through these things in this Podcast.

As Christians, are Gentiles grafted in and therefore part of Israel? If Gentiles are part of Israel does that mean we are under the Law of Moses today? What is Spiritual Israel? Is physical Israel God's people? What about the Law of Moses? These are some of the things that will be covered in this Podcast.

Should you pray to Jesus? Should you pray to the Holy Spirit? Should you pray to some dead saint? The answer is, you must pray to God the Father. However, you must also be sure your prayers are going to be heard at all. We are going to address these things in this study.

Have you ever heard of or read about Jephthah? This man made a promise to God that ended up having some terrible consequences for him and someone he loved. We are going to study about this and related matters in this Podcast.

There are times wherein someone asks a question and they demand a "yes" or "no" answer. However, not all questions are answerable with just a "yes" or "no" answer. We are going to work through this problem in this Podcast.

Why do men feel the need to give the grammatical structure of Hebrew and/or Greek terms when they are teaching? Why do they use terms such as "present active participle," "syntax," and "morphology?" We are going to explore the Scriptures about this in this Podcast. I get a little "fired up" with subjects like this. See if you can tell :)

It is an undeniable, biblical fact that those whom we spend time around have an influence on us. However, you do not have to allow your environment to dictate who you are, who you will be, whose you are, and where you will be. This balanced study is aimed at helping you see that!

In this third study of our series of three lessons regarding salvation, we explore the choices you can make to be saved or not. This study takes you through things everyone who is lost in sin must do to be saved, but this study is also just a springboard (of sorts). Each person is unique and there may be more to it for you depending on where you are coming from to get to eternal life.

In our second lesson in this three part series, we are going to look at the Scriptural solution to the sin problem. The solution, is Jesus Christ our Lord. We are going to talk about how He is the solution for reconciliation to the Father, for sins to be forgiven, and for salvation from the wrath to come.

God made everything perfect in the beginning. Mankind chose to sin against God and bring severe consequences into this world. This study addresses the origin of sin, what sin is, and what the consequences of sin are.

This world doesn't have anything to offer you that will grant you lasting peace. On the other hand, God has an eternal peace to offer you through Jesus Christ our Lord. If you want to live better, cope better, sleep better, laugh better, etc.; take hold of the peace God has offer.

It is common for people to think they are unworthy of eternal life.  The fact is, the Scriptures use such terms.  However, not in the way people commonly think today. I am going to prove to you that you CAN become worthy.  I am also going to prove that you CAN maintain that worthiness.

So many confuse being kind and polite with enabling destructive behavior in others. By being friendly you just might be costing someone his or her soul as well as being accountable yourself.

In some places people use a "swear jar" to stop using "cuss words"; "profanity." The thing is, they have concluded it is sinful to say certain words and that they have to find a way to stop. Have they confused repentance? Are these words truly "foul?" Join me in this study to get to the truth on the matter.

Should evangelists support themselves? What if an evangelist needs to work to supply for his family? What does the word of God say regarding these questions. We will examine, in-depth, these and other questions in this Podcast.

Eternal life should be on the minds of all reasonable people. The question of who Jesus will save is of the greatest importance. We will examine this question in this Podcast and see what the word of God says concerning such.

No one has control over tomorrow. Tomorrow may came for you and it might not. Yet, most people spend more time planning for the future than living the day. We are going to work through some Scriptures to help us all live like we're dying.
