Lord Krishna now unfolds the knowledge about birth and rebirth with reference to the hierarchy of consciousness. He explains further, how disciples can reach the ultimate dimensions of oneness by practicing the art of Bhakti.

In this chapter Lord Krishna had emphasized that mere knowledge about the truths of the universe is not enough for salvation. As salvation is a journey towards experiencing and living that truth.
