What does the Bible teach us about sight? God sees everything! We need to see Jesus. Do we see the vision God has for our future?

In a time of crisis, David finds contentment and gladness in God whom he believed was able to keep him through life, death & safely to heaven.

Let’s refocus and look at who Jesus really is, not what we are told he is but to look who he is for you. We look at the story of Bartimaeus, who received his sight when Jesus asked him what he could do for him Today, we are encouraged to answer the same question’what can Jesus do for you’?

I AM who I AM Exodus 3 :14 Colin Shelton ask us 3 important questions: What does God mean when he says I AM? Why were the Jews outraged when Jesus said I AM? How is I AM relevant for us today?

This week, Ruth reminds us that we need to pray. As we pray, we are tapping into the power of praising God, the power of worshipping God, and the power of Thanksgiving God. We are also reminded that a prayful church is a powerful church.

Gwen talks about how David was a man after God's own heart. She gives examples of how David wanted his heart to grow like God's heart. She explains that this applies to mankind not just men.

Simon talks about the ancient words of the Bible on how it is all about Jesus. He explains how the first half of the Bible is about the coming of Jesus, and the 2nd half is about Jesus' life. The Bible is the word of God, written by human hands, but with God as the author.

This weeks podcast looks at the various works that Bethel Blackheath is involved in, Bethel Bears, our Manna House provision. The youth at Bethel through Faithbuilders and the overall work of Bethel as a Church.

Mark talks about surprises at Christmas and how these can be brilliant. He looks at surprises under the Christmas tree, surprises about God's provision. We are reminded about the surprises of the Christmas story, and we are asked if we are available for the surprises that God can provide.

As 2022 comes to an end, we have the thoughts of various members of the people who meet at Bethel Church Blackheath as they share about lessons learnt and blessing gained.

Tony talks about how Christmas is about capturing moments, capturing a moment in time. Christmas captures love. Christmas captures grace  Christmas captures families.  God wants you to be part of his family. He is behind you, with you all of the time, every step of the way guiding you.

This morning, Anne reflects on the letters of Advent. She mainly focuses on the letter T, taking time to reflect.

Sue talks about two old testament women, how God knew them, he knew there lives and how he worked through these women to change things. God hears and God answers prayers.

Mark asks us how do we move closer to God? Everyone one will at somepoint will face death in a physical sense, but spiritually we will never die and we are asked if we know God face 2 face to allow us to move closer to God.

Tony's talk for this week looks at how we often forget things, but we should never forget that we have a calling for God. We need to live our lives for Jesus. He asks us How will you be remembered?

This weeks podcast Colin discusses the fact as a world our lives are ruled by time, but time is beyond our control. We need to forget about past times and we need to look forward to future times. He reminds us that everything is carried out in God's time and how God can provide us with stability.

Howard looks at Romans 15 and how we can live our lives so we can bring glory to God. We are reminded that in our own lives we know each other well, but in our church lives we don't know each other that well.

Today Jo looks at how Isaiah is relevant in todays lives, reminding us of God's never-ending presence and how he wants the church to grow.

Ruth shares encouraging thoughts on the word Harvest in relation to the Bethel community project Manna House.

Andy looks at the story if Lot's wife and he encourages us that both us as individuals and as a church can move forward in our relationship with God by not looking back at what has happened in the past.

Anne asks us this morning Is the Lord Jesus Holding you? As she reminds us that Jesus will hold us at all times, when we are in times of uncertainty God will be with us.  We are reminded that we can trust in the Lord all times, because we will never desert us, he is a rock that never erodes, Jesus is My Lord who is loving and Will Hold Us with everlasting arms.

Simon speaks to us about how important our saviour Jesus Christ was in the life of our late Queen Elizabeth II as he was the bedrock of her faith. Jesus came to serve through his life, and that through his death we have a hope.

Mark reminds us today that the ancient words within the Bible come from God. These words provide us guidance through the journey of life, these words are behind the songs we sing, it doesn't matter if you have a privileged life or not, but everyone has the opportunity to gain a meeting the King of Kings because of these ancient words, which are still relevant today.

Tony speaks about memorable days we we are reminded about the 21st anniversary of the 911 Twin Towers attack and the death of Queen Elizabeth ll. He speaks about a memorable day who was both healed and had his sins forgiven by Jesus.
