What can we learn from this Psalm? Where do you look to for help when life is an uphill battle? Instead of looking to the 'mountains' for rescue & protection we need to look to the 'mountain maker' - God, the maker of heaven & earth.

On the road to Emmaus, two disciples turned their back on Jerusalem and walked away. They had lost sight of Jesus after the crucifixion. All they had left was their sorrow and despair until they met a stranger as they travelled.

Do you believe that the Gospel is simply that Jesus died on our behalf so that we may reach heaven? If so this meeting will reveal that there is much more to the cross & resurrection that will hopefully change your opinion on what it means to be part of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Once again we find Jesus with the title Jesus of Nazareth. This time its on a sign above his head, as he dies on the cross. We look at times in the ministry of Jesus where this title was used & end up back at the cross. We ask, when we look on, do we just see Jesus of Nazareth or do we see more?

On Palm Sunday, Anne looks at how Matthew, Mark, Luke & John record the story. What kind of King do they describe Jesus as? Is Jesus your king?

Simon and Laura share some thoughts on the story of the paralysed man, Simon from the mans perspective and Laura from the crowds perspective.

Jesus was despised & rejected by many, even by those from his hometown. Nathaniel thought nothing good could ever come from a place like Nazareth, but took the time to discover the real Jesus, 'Rabbi you are the Son of God, the king of Israel'.  What about us? Have we discovered the real Jesus? Take the time to 'Come & see'.

Today, Howard looks at the Incarnation and Crucifixion of Jesus as the highest display of God’s love moving first to send Jesus to die for sin while humankind were still sinners (Romans 5:8).

In the first part of this series, Jo challenges us to enlarge our hearts and minds to embrace God’s plans for Bethel Blackheath. To see growth and all that God has in store, we are called to strengthen our stakes by becoming a praying church and inviting a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
