Our visiting speaker Jonathan from FIEC looks at Philippians 2 where Paul is looking at the example of Timothy and Epaphroditus on how we could imitate Christ's Godliness.

Mark discusses the story of Jonah asking if it was just coincidence or providence. Mark looks at How God guides by Providence, how God guides through scripture, how he guides through prayer, how he guides through action and how God's guidance is personal.

This morning Howard shares some thoughts on God's Kingdom. This was the main message from Jesus's teachings, about how the kingdom of God is coming. We are reminded that God is King and how God reigns on high and reigns over us and do we believe that. We need to be able to explain that God is king and around us.

Ruth talks about when we die and get to heaven how we will receive The Ultimate Extreme Makeover in new bodies are: indestructible, identifiable, incredible, infinite.

Carol shares some thoughts on Listening. To test how effective your listening skills are Carol starts off with a quiz and the then gets you to follow some instructions.

Gwen shares some thoughts on how we can follow the example of Nehemiah when he seized the opportunity to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. She looks at how we can seize the opportunity to rebuild the church of God by having: a vision, by praying about it and by planning for when opportunities arise.

Anne talks to us about the importance of prayer and asks us will we pray with her. As part of her message she reflects on several points. At the end of the podcast she challenges us to do the 21 day prayer plan by Pete Greg ‘How To Pray’

Looking at various Scriptures including Ephesians 3v20 Mark explains that we can have immeasurably more, and things can grow from something small into something big. Together as young and old we make make our dreams of how we want to server God, we can make those dreams into a vision and reality.

Tony explains that the most important thing is to follow Jesus. Using Luke 9v57-62 we are asked what type of follower we are? Are we willing to pay the cost of following Jesus?

Simon starts talking about the first Solas of the reformation by looking at how we can have Grace Alone by looking at various Scriptures.

In this weeks podcast, Jo asks us if our day of rest is the way God intended. Jo has 3 key points on how to ensure our day of rest is fruitful, by resetting it as God intended, reflecting on God's covenant, getting us ready for God's refreshments and making time for resting with God.

Paul and Phil shares some thoughts as we enter the new year.

Anne talks about how we can have Joy at Christmas, how Joy is part of the season of Advent. How we can have Joy through the story of the nativity, through hard times, times of difficulty and how Joy can fill our lives.

Ruth challenges us to consider ways in which we can be more generous, particularly as we approach this Christmas time.  We are  ‘blessed to be a blessing’.

Gwen talks about 2 women in the Bible who needed to wait so God's purpose could be fulfilled.

Sue gives us her thoughts on Joshua how he was given a task to do leading God's people into the promised land. Joshua had a huge task before him following in the footsteps of his mentor Moses

Anne talks about God's compassion for his people right upto how Jesus is God's compassion.

Joe gives us an overview of Obadiah from explaining about the nation of Edom from its history right through to how God has a future for the nation by God's Holiness and how this can be applied for our future, God promises he is able to restore and redeem us through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Simon talks about Jesus Christ becoming the word, how he is our saviour and god anointed King of all. How Jesus is God, how he is the word, God's most important message, how he is the creator and how he is the Life and the Light. Simon then asks what our response is.

In this weeks podcast Carol looks at the need for spiritual food in our lives referring to occasions in the Bible which food was used as part of God's work.   

Today Jo speaks about how we can learn from the persecuted church, how despite the dark times in our lives, God can bring hope. Through various passages can can learn how this hope can bring radical joy, radical faith, radical hope, radical love and a radical perspective on life.
