In this weeks talk in the Defined series, Neil talks from 2 Timothy Chapter 1 (v1-14) showing how Paul encourages Timothy. In four key points, Neil encourages us to firstly  fan into flames the gift of God, given to us by the Holy Spirit. Listen on to hear the other challenges. 

Today Jerusha continues our Defined series talking about Moses's life of surrender and dependence on God. She encourages us that our identity is not defined by our past but lies in knowing who God is.

Neil shares the Vision for Bethany over the coming years, including exciting news on leadership and a building.

Talking from 1 Samuel 17, John explains that God doesn't look on outward appearances and how David relied on the name of the Lord.

In the third of our series on key characters in the Bible, John talks from 1 Kings Ch16 and 19 about the travails of Elijah. He reminds us that "Elijah was a man just like us" James 5:7.

Guest speaker Andrey Bondarenko leads 'Nations', a group of Newfrontiers churches in Ukraine. Speaking from Acts Chapter 8, Andrey describes God's interventions in Phillip's life, encouraging us to be ready for the new things God is going to do.

In this new series "Defined", we will be looking at characters in the Bible and their battle for identity and how they overcame their struggles. Introducing the series, Neil provides an overview and focuses on Gideon, based on Judges ch 6 v1-16

To a backdrop of Christmas movies and popcorn, Neil talks about the Father's love, our need for repentance and the impact each of our lives can have on those around us. With references from Matthew chapter 3 v16-17 and Psalm 51.

In the start of a new mini-series leading up to Christmas, Neil talks about three aspects of the quintessential Christmas. This week the "build-up", as we look forward to Christmas, reading from Luke chapter 1 v26 -38

In our final sermon on this series of The Church - Neil focuses on the Unique Selling Point (USP) of the Church. The main reading is from Acts Chapter 2 v42-47 and the time includes feedback from the floor on 2 key questions that Neil asks  the attendees. 

John describes seven key aspects of being a servant of Jesus. The main reading is from John chapter 13 v1-17.

Speaking from Ephesians 2:14 through to 3:13, Neil outlines God's purpose and His desire to display His wisdom through the Church. (Note this includes a Q&A section towards the end)

Continuing the series on the Church, John explains that the primary role of the Church is to grow as disciples and to disciple others. Reading Matthew 28 v16-20

In the fourth part of our series on the Church, Neil asks "what does it mean to be part of the body of Christ?".  Speaking from Romans 12v12-31 he talks about being connected, serving and being missional.

Continuing our series on the Church, John expands upon the Church as the Bride of Christ, looking at 7 brides in the Old Testament.

Talking from 1 Peter chapter 2 verses 4 to 10, Neil focuses on Jesus the cornerstone of the Church and what that means for our lives.

Neil introduces our new series on the Church, showing that the characteristics of how the Church should operate is outlined in Acts chapters 1 and 2.

John concludes our short series on being Salt in the world, again focusing on Matthew 5 verse 13.
