Introducing a new series on the Book of James, John reminds us of James's practical wisdom -  to be doers of the Word and not just hearers.

Andy talks from Mark 6:31-44, the feeding of the 5,000, to encourage us to think about our giving and how Jesus multiplies our offerings. Includes details of a crowdfunding opportunity to raise funds for the new Community Cafe.

This week Neil gives an update and a reminder of the vision for the Church in the coming year.

In an update to her second talk, Carole sent some points she was unable to cover in her talk on Sunday 15th September with practical tips on "How do we Fast?"

In the second of Carole's talks on prayer and fasting, she asks "Are we backing up our Gospel message with a humble lifestyle of prayer and fasting?". Reading from Ezra Chapter 8

In the first of two talks leading up to a week of prayer and fasting - Carole encourages us to have new confidence and courage in our prayer life. We can have that confidence because we have been invited into a supernatural relationship with the living God.

This week John leads a group discussion on Romans Chapter 15 v1-13. A servant hearted attitude is what God is looking for from His people.

Dave tells his personal story of how God called him and the journey that he has been on, leading a life in Submission to God

Representing our young people Megan and Sara (youth leader) talk about the pressures on this young generation, how it is on fire for God and provide some strategies for older generations to meaningfully connect and support them.

With limited time available,  John provides an overview of God's covenant with Abraham and how Jesus fulfilled the requirements of that covenant.   

Wrapping up our series on the book of Daniel, John Swain reminds us that God is in control of our world and of our sure and certain hope that we will rise to eternal life, through Jesus.

Moving on to Daniel Chapter 11 Neil talks through the prophecies to explain that God knows and God is in control.

Neil continues our series from the book of Daniel, this week focusing on how Daniel seeks after and hears God.  God's got a plan for us, it's a wonderful plan, but we need to hear and know HIs word

Continuing our series on Daniel, Neil talks about Daniel's approach to prayer and his focus on God's faithfulness, HIs mercy and His grace.  (Apologies that John's talk on Chapter 8 could not be published due to a technical issue)

Continuing with our series from the book of Daniel, today Neil explains how Daniel speaks up (again) to confront evil.

We are now in Daniel Chapter 4, where Daniel interprets Nebuchadnezzar's dream and Nebuchadnezzar realises that Jehovah is God of Gods and King of Kings and Lord of Lords and far more powerful than he is.

Continuing our series through the book of Daniel. Looking at Daniel chapter 3, Neil talks about the reality of the testimony of the children of God. Includes a short section by Sonya Chitty on being intentional as we raise our children
