Hopefully the whole podcast is here.  There were issues. It's been a hot minute since we had an overlong podcast. Matt finds religion. Someone finds a rocket. A new standard of beauty is defined. And nazis.

Close your eyes.  Hum that familiar John Williams tune.  Listen for the crack of the bullwhip. Then drop all that and get ready for a pale imitation. Sound clips from old VHS recordings that are over 30 years old. Matt's music choices are questioned, plus we completely forget a segment and have to backtrack. All this and more in this week's episode.

Put your sunglasses on, spit out your gum and kick some ass. In a way this is a prima facie example of what this podcast is or should be.  Talking about an 80s movie of questionable stature and riffing on other shit. Had an audio issue and Doug was a dick, but anyway...Matt as a ventriloquist? Also why Indigo is the most important color.

Guess who's back.  Back again.  Freddy's back.  Tell a friend not to go to sleep... Not as long as usual. An entry intro a storied franchise that yields uneven results. Check for yourself.

After a brief hiatus we come back to tackle the deep issues: Sexism. Fidelity on deep space trips. Whether leather jackets are okay. We had some audio issues so if they're there, deal with it. All this and more....

Back at home and all the guests have left.  Matt and Doug take a swing at their first (?) rated G film. Will the Muppets bring it home? Will the podcast be safe for work? Is Kermit a cuck? All this and more as we dip our toe into a universe that gave Matt buyer's remorse...

For the first time in 2022 we let a fox in the fully populated hen house and are rewarded with a nearly four and a half hour podcast. This is a big one.  This is Die Hard, bitch! Is there any way that a seminal film from 1988 doesn't hold up? What is a wobbly H? What are the best healthcare options for the self employed? This and so much more...

This ain't your parent Star Wars.  It ain't Star Wars at all. Some magical connections of parallel thinking happen.  Can a ballsack save a planet? Matt is concussed and smells.  Doug gets probed.  We talk about being immortal.  The show gets called out by a new listener. Absolutely no one will notice, but no lobby breaks in this film. Best high movie going experiences and other stuff are discussed along with actually talking about the movie.

Matt gets sad.  Both Matt and Doug try to avoid caricatures though the movie leans into them.   A decision is made about Star Wars films. All that and the realization that the show has come down to talking about the weather.

A sequel that isn't part of Matt's season of sequels.  A precious.  A movie that should stand the test of time.  Does it? Matt continues to bitch about having to make glasses and Doug talks about someone getting all up in his ass. All this and much more in a podcast that is much shorter than expected.

Bug killer and transponster by day, Hollywood hookers by night.  Matt and Doug was through the filth of 80s Hollywood Blvd. to see if a hooker can reform her ways. A podcast that is on the shorter side, which is sad because it is disrespectful to the source material. Matt screws up.  Matt deals with depression.  Doug complains for about two hours.  Oscar caliber acting and writ...

Back to a regular movie and hopefully back to a sub four hour podcast. Can the greatest American hero carry a horror comedy? Does this movie have legs? Does Doug have a veto remaining? Will we ever get out of the clip segment at the beginning of the podcast?  Listen and find out....

After multiple weeks Doug returns to the fold and we discuss the final episode of the original trilogy. Will it hold up? Will they bring it? Will anybody be called a cuck? All that and more will be answered in a super sized episode.

Jen returns for the movie Doug said he would quit the podcast over Matt selecting. Matt laments how he is Duckie and Jen tells him to quit being a bitch. That, plus stories of high-school homecoming and prom as we revisit a classic Matt had never seen before.

Is it an good movie?  Is it a good sequel?  Is it Eddie just being Eddie? None of these answers discount the others.  Find out as we take a deep dive in Axel Foley returning to the sun kissed environment of Beverly Hills for a second time.

A tear jerker.  A hopeful film.  A Doug film.  Like they say...it is what it is.   Always

This podcast is under two hours and like the movie it talks about, that time includes a lot of pad. Doug disappears at the end.  See if you can tell.  The movie, like the podcast is what it is and doesn't pretend to be anything else.
