I am a human animal & through my creative practices seek to connect to the flow of life to let my innate intuition guide me before my logical mind controls me. To undo or at least side-step some of my cultural conditioning so the spirits of the place I am in can express through me. This forest I am in, the rock I sit on beside this stream, the footpath below my feet, this vast planet we all live upon. The natural world so often unconsidered, ignored, I aim to give it some voice.

Cordyceps [disquiet0747] 26.04.2026

Then finally two weeks from now, other musicians will ad...

Llistening for Incoming [disquiet0611] 18.09.2023

I love the whistle sounds the flute can make before the full tone arrives. Here there is a ptich-shifting delay-listening to only the full tones, this then creates a melody from what I've played on the flute. If We Stop Talking To Ourselves We Can Hear The Others [disquiet0532] 12.03.2022

When is helpful not to talk? Connecting to the natural world. Early morning I walked up into the bush, with my clarinet, flute and a sound recorder.
