Deuteronomy in Context/Overview: The Israelites are about to enter the promised land. Deuteronomy is written in the form of a treaty or covenant, but ultimately no-one can live up to this on their own. In Moses first address, we learn of God’s care for the people and know that as we trust God we too can look to him for help, care and protection.

Today's episode is a discussion leading into the seven-week series where we will cover key points of the book, which will give an overview of Deuteronomy. Later in the year we will return to look at the book in more detail, focussing on some of the laws and their application to us today.
