Believers on Board

Recall the day you did something wrong when you were a child. As Mom wanted to beat you, you ran into hiding behind Dad or your elder, who covered you. That’s what Jesus did to protect us believers from God’s anger.

The God we serve loves us beyond our description. But sometimes that God of love punishes you for wrong doing. That doesn’t mean He hates you. No! That’s discipline for your own good!

When you have a message to share with others, do so in simple and clear words Avoid big terms and jargon. If your audience doesn’t get the message, have failed! So KISS! That is, keep it short and simple!

We call God Almighty and He is indeed. He can do anything with anybody at any time. You may think low of yourself and God can raise you to prominence. All you do is to pray that God uses You

Someone very dear to you in your family has committed a crime. The person is to be killed; can you volunteer to die for that person? If you hesitate to respond; I understand. That’s what exactly what Jesus did for you!

Jesus Christ is our role model for good Christian living. Even if you are at your best,showing the love you have for people, you will still have enemies! Let that not hinder you; keep doing good!

Christians across the world are living in hope; they are expecting the final Coming of Christ. But what does God expect of them as they wait? Know how to prepare for His coming, then, be prepared.

Have you ever disobeyed God? It shouldn’t take long for you to say Yes! You have done that so many times. Think of Jonah and then think of yourself. Go to where God is sending you now and carry out the mission.

Which is the safest place to keep your money? In a safe, between pages of books, in a bank or where? Thieves can break into the safest places! Better to have what robbers can’t steal! What is it?

Today, good things may be going on in your life. And someone who has no idea of your past, thinks you have always had easy life. Even the best of believers have sharp tests from God.

What God gives you, spiritual or material, share with others. Don’t be too possessive of your possessions. That makes the Giver angry and He can terminate your life and others take the things

If going to heaven is dependent on us keeping the laws of the Bible, nobody will make it! Why? Because the sin in us prevents us from doing so! Thanks be to God who gives us salvation through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Human beings are not wired to live holy lives on their own. God must step in through the Holy Spirit. When He gives you the light, you shine! Without it you remain in darkness. Take your light from Jesus and experience the difference.

Thank God that you are alive. Avoid all that is bad and do all that is good. Serve God and mankind so that when you depart tomorrow, people on earth will miss you, but angels will welcome you in heaven.

Do you recall some good things you did in the past? What about the bad ones? I know you like talking of your good past. Have you ever mentioned your bad past? If not, x-ray its sins and ask for forgiveness.

We work and rest, but God works always. He rested only after creation, and since then, He is on duty every second! That’s why creation rotates in regular rhythm. We have a great God!

Name the spiritual and material things that you have in life. How did you get them? Someone will say I worked hard! Another will say God gave them! All good gifts come from God, but God doesn’t exist because of our good gifts!

Do you know the names of some people who don’t like you? If yes, are you surprised? Know that some people don’t even love the God who created them! But guess what! They instead love the things God created!

Some people don’t create the time to read the Bible or listen to others read it to them. But those who do, reap the benefits! It touches them and makes a difference in their lives.

You many good things you love to do. But you don’t have the means or ability to do them. That’s the same with genuine believers who want to keep God’s laws. But they are lucky! Jesus has done it for them!

You have an enemy who hates you to death. Because he wants to kill you, you escape and he still pursues you. Now you have the chance to kill him before he kills you! Will you take it or leave it?

Giving and receiving, which do you like better? Have you ever put bad money in the offering basket in Church? Do you really give relative to what God has given you? All the answers are with you!

Some members of the forces of law and order give a very bad impression of their work! They misuse the guns, killing innocent citizens. But some are very professional and are genuine believers. Those are the Corneliuses of our days! How I wish we had many more!

We have various dreams; some are good, others bad, and some amusing or adventurous. Nightmares are very unpleasant and frightening. Let’s be thankful to God when He speaks to us through dreams and visions.

What good things do you need in small quantities? That’s not an easy one, right? You want good things in abundance. I guess you will be in top excitement if you pray for little but God gives you more! It happens! Try and see
