Believers on Board

You can learn from other people. What matters is the kind of things you get from others. Some people are good at copying bad things. Be the exception; always imitate the good and the right.

We grow in different cultures. Anyone who becomes a believer, is expected to live as the Christian culture dictates. I guess you are still the kind of Christian you were, when you first believed.

How do you become a Christian? Other ways may exist; but the best of them is to hear the word, confess and repent of your sins. Then be baptized and belong to the fellowship of believers.

What are the five top things that tempt you most in this life? Give a critical look at them, and you will see that they are attractive. That aside, know that when you yield, you have sinned!

God Is in His Category Alone! He was, He is, and He will be! That’s the right person for you to entrust your life into His care, so that He guides and protects you today as He yesterday and will do tomorrow.

Some people boast of their money; others boast of their wealth. What a genuine Christian is grateful and proud of is the faith in Christ and the good done to others.

The world has bad and wicked people. But it also has very good individuals; those who love God and show that in their good deeds to people. Such people will have eternal life, not because of the good they do; they will due to their faith in Jesus Christ.

God is everywhere across the world. And He knows everyone everywhere. He desires to protect, provide, and care for all. Those who refuse His goodness and do evil, He knows and will punish them. But believers will have eternal life

Do you believe in miracles? Some people do, others don’t! I believe in miracles because God has performed many in my life! He did it to the children of Israel and still does to His people today. Yours may just be on the way!

Society has many orphans and widows. Causes include natural death,accidents, and wars among others. Sadly enough, some people add to the pain of widows and orphans, instead of caring and protecting them. Don’t be like them!

The new life Christians need is a gift from God. In practice, that life is different from the one lived by worldly standards. The transformed life focuses on spirituality and not materialism.

Each person has specific gifts from God to be used for the benefit of others. In addition, we have material things to share with each other. But because of selfishness, we are not doing so. Lack of generosity contributes to poverty.

Some people who know you and you them can turn around to destroy you. These are “enemies in the house”! Beware of such people and keep them at a distance. Otherwise, you will regret!

There are only two people who know you very well; God and You. As far as you know yourself, what can you do best in life? Teach? Counsel? Lead? Serve? If you don’t know what your talents are, then you have work to do!

God created people in His image to serve Him in what they do and say. Whether young or old, God still wants to use us. Are you still in active service? Serve God! Are you on retirement? Continue serving your Creator.

Look at yourself. Are you contented with what you have? Or, you want to have what another person has? Those without the spirit of contentment and appreciation of others, become envious and jealous. Let that not be You!

We live in a world of materialism versus spirituality. More people want to be materially rich and spiritually poor! Sad! Learn from King Solomon; he had all and all, but no satisfaction! Only the knowledge and belief in God fulfills!

Listen to some people; when they speak, you take them for angels. But when you know more about them, that’s when you know they are really evil people. They can fool people, but not God!

You don’t know a person from his or her words; you do from the deeds and character. The world has many gods; but you know the Supreme God from what He does, and has done.

Some people are patient and persistent Others are impatient and give up too early. In which group do you fall? Know this: patience pays, and impatience loses. You know which is better.

What role do you play in your Church? Some people’s response will be “nothing”! Attend worship service, offerings, Church contributions, singing and other things are roles you play. Never undermine your own role in your congregation, no matter how small.

Look back into your life and see if you recall certain things you did that you are ashamed of. You may not remember details of the causes. But you can tell God to help you never to do them again

We often look at others and point out their sins and wrongdoings. The wise and better thing to do is to check your own weaknesses and correct them.

It’s often said, some people like hard life! In spiritual matters, you see the trend in some Christians. They prefer suffering to keep the law, than accept with humility the grace of God! Who can keep it! Nobody! No self deception!

Read social media, listen to radio, and watch television. You will see thousands of preachers! But are all preaching the Good News? For me, No! You may differ Know who you are, watch out what you read, listen to, and watch.
