If you know the premise of this, you already know that Jacquie doesn't like beer. Lets see how she does with a non-alcoholic beer from Olympia's 3 Magnets Brewing. This hazy is actually fresh hopped and delicious- but lets hear when Jacquie thinks...

We were onsite for a special event at Auburn's Geaux Brewing. So we used the excuse to drink some of their delicious beers. We were joined by Jen and Lauren from YELP! - they helped make the chitchat fun- Geaux provided the kick-ass beer!

Another quick "mew" for you. We grabbed a crowler of the Fresh Hop submission to the Yakima Fresh Hop Festival this year- which made the final table. Billowing Waves DIPA is fresh hopped with the perfect amount of Mosaic (which is a lot) and smooth as butter in my mouth. Emily barely wanted to share!

Isn't Montana landlocked? Why would some name a brewery after Neptune in Montana? Well, Sarah scored some beer from Neptune's Brewery in Montana on a recent trip, and brought it back to Bellingham for us to sip together. She talks about the name, and we enjoy the brew- and we talk a little nonsense.

This bite sized episode features a quick taste of one special beer. Bellingham's Sarah stepped in with a Montana beer from Bitter Root Brewing. This one is a Huckleberry Honey Ale- supposedly Huckleberry flavored everything is a thing in Montana. Well, we gave this one a sip and rated it accordingly! We'll be back with more full length episodes this week!

We had a handful of beers in the truck from Sunnyside's Varietal Beer Co., so we recruited "Not-Jacquie" Sarah in Bellingham (but FROM Montana) to sample with us. Jacquie was hundreds of miles away thanking the heavens that she didn't have to drink beers again. These beers were cold and the night seemed right- so we moved on without her! Tune it to see what we liked best!

We brought Sarah back to taste some beers, since Jacquie was busy. Yeah, Sarah from Montana- that Sarah. And beers from Tri-Cities' (Washington) White Bluff Brewing. It was a fun adventure through a couple beer styles that weren't super familiar to either Brian nor Sarah. Wonder what Jacquie would say about them?

So, Kelli doesn't like sour beers. And Seattle's Dirty Couch Brewing makes amazing sour beers. Sounds like the perfect opportunity to... well, see what happens! We grabbed some of those M Berries you may have heard of, and tried the sour beer minus the sour, too. It was a unique experience which enabled both of us to appreciate the nuances of these beautiful beers all the more!

Does a Baerlic in the woods? Seems likely. We grabbed friend Nate from Wandering Hop in Yakima to fill in for busy Jacquie this time- but we tried to account for her (lack of) taste in our descriptions. We had a selelction on Portland's Baerlic Brewing's Beer to get through- and hope we made her proud with our banter!

While Jacquie is out making music, we had to find a way to keep making these episodes! We found a new friend in Kelli- and she got to share some of those clean crisp beers from Ballard's Stoup Brewing.

A special episode- Jacquie has been busy recording new music with her band, Lace & Thorn, so Brian recruited his sister to help him taste through some amazing brews using experimental hops. We taste Chainline's Intent and Purpose, along with the Haas/Single Hill Outcross trio. Our sipper beer is a nice crisp and hoppy Italian Pilsner from Stoup- a Presto.
