An energising fourth week of the campaign filled with major constituency events, strong media interventions, and new proposals focused on Malta’s future. With election day approaching, the message remains clear, Malta cannot afford a change in direction.

A powerful third week of the campaign marked by meaningful community encounters, strong national debates, and the launch of Labour’s winning manifesto for Malta’s future. From Cospicua to Birgu, Marsa to Senglea, the momentum continues to grow thanks to your unwavering support.

This campaign is more positive, more focused, and far less of the mud-slinging spectacle we had grown used to.

It's finally on! The Prime Minister has called an election for May 30th.

A week focused on vision and action, from Congress discussions shaping a better Malta to concrete work in Parliament. Together, we continue delivering stability, protecting families, and building the next chapter with the Maltese people.

This week we started key works in Marsa under the Grand Harbour revival plan, and at fort Tigne. Opened a new recreational space in Birgu, and continued engaging with residents on energy subsidies and community services. Meanwhile, public discussion continues to grow around national issues, including the BCRS scheme and ongoing speculation about a possible general election.

This week on Bedingfield Now, we reflect on Freedom Day, political expectations, and the challenges facing Malta’s traditional regatta. From Holy Week in Cottonera to getting back to work, it’s a mix of tradition, community, and the other prep work before next summer.

In this week’s update, I reflect on a positive and productive week focused on delivering results. I highlight the expansion of the door-to-door plastic bottle collection service, making Malta a world leader in this sector. In Parliament, I marked thirteen years since a Labour Government was first elected, reflecting on the reforms achieved while continuing to govern for the many.
