Bec’s Unhinged Reviews

This week Bec and Pete hit Bathmas, Work From Cricket and AFL trade chaos. There’s marathon goodness, small business shout-outs, spring racing nonsense, one-hit wonders, classic Aussie ads and Pete getting grilled with questions no sane person should answer quickly.

This week Bec and Pete unpack the Grand Final chaos, from Freo hitting Wharfie Time too early to Brisbane turning it into Roarfie Time. There’s also Bec’s very Victorian roast beef Grand Final “BBQ”, school holiday fatigue, medicinal cannabis TAFE courses, smart glasses paranoia, more one hit wonders and the big national questions nobody asked for.

It’s Grand Final week, and Bec and Pete are somehow dealing with Freo v Brisbane, Kylie Minogue, Lachie Neale’s worst-timed brain fart, and the loss of Aussie rock legend Angry Anderson. There’s also one-hit wonders, an emu police chase, Bec accidentally committing to Kokoda, 90's ad jingles and whatever else survives the conversation.

Bec is back from sickness, 21st Century madness and absolutely no patience for Pete, who was on the guest list and still didn’t show up. This week covers the 21st reunion, iconic Aussie viral clip, Sydney Airport’s gluten-free beef, Swans chaos, Dolly Parton, Wildcard Weekend, Book Week and whatever else survives the rundown.

This week Bec takes on the chaos of the AusAlert test, bird flu panic, a naked bloke allegedly napping in a stranger’s bed, and the internet doing what it does best. Plus Alone Australia, one-star review madness, things that didn’t piss her off, and a look back at "real"viral videos.

Bec is back after a little break and naturally starts with the most unhinged things people have witnessed, from tiny inconveniences turning feral to full-blown road rage meltdowns. Then it’s into Russell Crowe’s terrifying road-rage spiral in the 2020 movie -  Unhinged , cooked news, footy sprays, viral rage bait, dot butter and a new segment reviewing ridiculous one-star reviews.

This week Bec dives into the 21st Century nightclub reunion and the absolute commitment it took to have a night out before Uber, location sharing and dignity. She yarns with Pete about old club memories, bad fashion, songs that still trigger something, World Cup chaos, footy, and why we’d probably still line up again.

This week Bec reckons holidays are a scam and proves it with caravan park weirdos, buffet chaos, sand in places it shouldn’t be, and the bin chickens waiting for violence. Then it turns into a laid back yarn with Pete on travel horror stories, rogue Aussies overseas, footy chat, and much more.

Bec dives into the most nightmare fuel jobs in Australia, from hotel cleaners to retail, hospo and call centres, plus the stories you lot sent in that should come with a warning label. Local comedian Andrew Iles jumps on for a proper laugh about the worst shifts, weird bosses and feral customers.

This week Bec loses it (again) over the Peninsula Link mess. Closures, detours, Nepean Highway prison-barrier vibes, and zero workers in sight. She chats to local MP, Chris Crewther to find out who signed off on this circus, then plays your voice notes and spirals into a footy chat.
