It’s time for our annual Halloween episode(s), and we are focusing on the Scream franchise this time around! In this episode, AJ & Chris discuss the original flick at length, including their favorite characters, kills, jokes, and more!

Chris is joined by fellow comic book fans Jesse & Evan for a special audio commentary track for the 2000 super hero flick X-Men! Celebrating its 25th anniversary this month, X-Men kicked off a comic book movie trend that has continued to this day. After brief introductions, the commentary track begins at 1:15.

AJ & Chris are gearing back up with this catch-up episode, discussing the films of The Adams Family, disagreeing on Heart Eyes (20:36), and touching on Companion (27:05), Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice (29:37), The 4 30 Movie (34:13), and others! They finish off discussing the late Gene Hackman (48:10).

AJ & Chris are going back a quarter century to look at the movies of 1999 and whittle the epic slate of flicks down to their top ten of the year! In part one they discuss some notable exclusions that didn’t warrant serious consideration for the big list!

To celebrate Halloween this year, AJ & Chris decided to go big by putting together the inaugural class of the Because Movies Horror Hall of Fame! They couldn’t do it alone, so they welcome horror aficionado Lando in to help put it together.
